LuckyNumber7
Why is it so fucking difficult to put stripes on the back of the shirt?

The Kraken
No idea why all of our kits have to have the cheap, terrible looking massive vinyl sponsor over the front. Every year the same. The Starling Bank one actually looks alright.

SNSUN
I don't mind the shirt, I don't like the sponsor - but whatever the club thinks is financially our best option then so be it. I get the home shirt as a Christmas present from the wife every year so it's not like I have to spend my own hard earned on it. I do need a new Saints hoody though... JCBSaint
It’s ok, clean, simple, just a shame it’s a plain back, I just don’t get that. There’s no need, a black number would have looked great on a striped back. I won’t get one because of that. Maybe next year.
goodymatt
Kits are fine, sponsor does ruin them but if that’s the biggest offer then we take it. For me red and white stripes for home and a yellow away kit is my preference, so can’t complain.

sadoldgit
Don’t mind the shirts although the bib effect is a bit strange. Much prefer the home shirt to last year’s effort. Is the third kit really pink? JCBSaint
8 minutes ago, Hopper said: It's a UEFA/EPL Guideline sadly. I know there’s a guideline for those who qualify but we don’t! I just think it’s a ridiculous rule no matter the team, we have been watching striped backs for decades, now somebody that probably had nothing to do that day decides we all have to have plain backs, we could see the numbers perfectly fine years ago, now somehow it’s too difficult? Absolutely ridiculous, it ruins a kit in my opinion. At least for another year I save on having to buy one.

Holmes_and_Watson
Looks okay. Basic, with a decent collar, feature at the bottom to give it a boost and an interesting back. The away kit looks more than okay. Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd
I guess that kit manufacturers knock up a handful of designs for the club to then choose the ones they like best? If this is the case then whoever has the final say at Saints clearly has little taste. Other than last season, which was a safe bet as it was a replica of a popular 80's kit, Saints shirts have been piss poor for years. It can't be a case of every manufacturer being rubbish at designing kits. They seem to do ok with other clubs so it must be that we have Stevie Wonder making the final decision. Polaroid Saint
The home kit on the players look okay, if utterly uninspired. The ones hanging up in the shop look shockingly terrible. I think it's the extra fabric in XL etc, is adding an extra white strip of stripe ? Is that what is happening? Looks horrid. Otherwise, three plain white stripes down the front of a red kit with black trim is pretty much what you'd expect/want from a ' traditional ' Saints kit. No?
