I'm similar, but did buy the yellow match day warm up shirt last year for £35 as that was great (far better than any of the actual kits).

Not quite that straight forward unfortunately as you well know. I’m not sure what the Puma cut will be. I remember we made our own kit at one stage to pass the savings on to the supporters or to make sure more. I do not feel that bad buying expensive kit as it is another way of supporting and getting money in the coffers, no matter how small it will be of a contribution. I do wish we knew the cut that went to Puma and what goes to the club though. 1

So basically they're advertising something that they think might be the new kit but not making it yet. 1
