£35 for a training shirt, though... 😳

Never bought one for anything over £20 in the later season sales. Not bought a match shirt in the first half of a season for years either.

I'm similar, but did buy the yellow match day warm up shirt last year for £35 as that was great (far better than any of the actual kits).

I don’t mind spending money but not £55 on a T-shirt which cost £1 to make.

Not quite that straight forward unfortunately as you well know. I’m not sure what the Puma cut will be. I remember we made our own kit at one stage to pass the savings on to the supporters or to make sure more. I do not feel that bad buying expensive kit as it is another way of supporting and getting money in the coffers, no matter how small it will be of a contribution. I do wish we knew the cut that went to Puma and what goes to the club though.

I'm not sure I'm buying that. If it was a charity or a mate starting up his own business then fair enough but we're talking about Puma and a PL football club. I'll pay what I think is a reasonable price for a T-shirt, same as a match ticket.

I really hope we're not using that template.  Distinct Under Armour vibes to it. Awful.

I note that the Notts County training kit has identical pattern to ours - so that's certainly a template item.

Hearing from a usually reliable source that the striped home shirt has a black side panel (triangle?), and that the away kit is black.  Refused to divulge anything else at the mo.

Black at the bottom left / right of the above template?

Maybe, just a description of the black panels and a black away kit.  Hopefully winding me up on both counts, but was the contact who confirmed Puma.

A listing purporting to be our new shirt has turned up on a certain Chinese knock off website and matches that template...

Possibly worth noting that a black side panel is consistent with the above image that turned up on the Chinese knock off sites a month ago.

only issue with that will be the sponsor. and "Monster" are listed on the website as the "Energy Drink Partner". Have they appeared in the background before?

Good spot. You'd think our front of shirt sponsor would surely appear on our press backdrops.

I’m sure they will once we have one confirmed

It's like the dodgy listing is even predicting all the returning signings as well. Anyone brave enough to take a punt even with a 4 month delivery date?

Hopefully shirts go on sale with no sponsor whilst theyre sorting that out, I'd rather that to be honest

Why do we seem to be one, if not the last team to release our kits?

Lack of a sponsor to go on them I imagine

FC Shaktar Donetsk Home and 3rd. Puma seems to have a good variation with their striped kits.spacer.png

Over the course of the x year deal we have, I'd like to see Puma give us an innovative `stripe' that is loved and hated in equal measure, but 20 years down the line is looked at fondly because we were bloody great to watch in.

That might look alright if the shorts were in red with similar black trim.

What website is that? The one I usually use doesn't have them listed.

Have a feeling the new main sponsor will be announced this week, with the kit to follow next week.

Updated sponsors on the OS:

That's DHgate.  I messaged one of their suppliers asking if it's actually been produced.  They said no it's in production.  So basically they're advertising something that they think might be the new kit but not making it yet.

Moonpigs-Landed-652x303.jpg

The squad show off their new pink onesie kits, with variations for away, third and 'keepers outfit on the right.

The delay in release due to main sponsor, Moonpig, making sure the dinosaurs looked fierce enough, and that the FA were on board in protecting players' heads from injury with the likes of party hats.

Have the club given a date when the new kit will be released?

They've done this thing where you can attend a Puma event next week, 16th July. Presumably the event is the kit launch.
