Look forward to seeing the third kit, Martin said he was a big fan of it...Im guessing it's "bold" which tbh, I don't mind in a third kit.

Sadly, it will still have Rollbit plastered on the front. If I do buy one (and I occasionally buy them at the end of the season once discounted) I'll be buying a Starling kit rather than a Rollbit kit.

Would be a nice way of fans protesting against this shite dodgy sponsor

It's pretty bold - it's pink.

My plan is to get the women’s team one. Do not want rollbit advertising on me as I walk around.
Online store doesn’t seem to give the option to do the women’s team one in men’s sizing though?

If I was to buy a kit it would not be one with Rollbit on it. Having said that, has anyone actually researched the ethics, policies etc etc of Starling Bank? Thought not.

They literally cannot be worse than using untraceable currency to allow people to do illegal betting. Not to mention cryptocurrency is already a gamble, it's like multi-level gambling.

Bring back Veho, I loved those guys

This times 100.

Its been said above, but these kit manufacturers must provide the club with a choice over kits, and time after time, some utter numpty in the club keep picking shit versions... It cannot repeatedly be the various kit manufactures constantly giving us poor kits.

Agree, it emphasises a bit of a  disconnect between the club and the decision makers in my view.

Should be rejecting any notion of a plain back for starters.

Here's hoping the third (black and yellow stripes?) is a belter. What we really need is a good keeper or we're fucked

Where does that idea come from, any leaks on it ?

Not a bad suggestion but with a yellow second shirt the y/b combination won’t happen this season.

The blue is too dark on change strip - will clash with Fulham, Brentford, Newcastle, Bournemouth, etc black.  So we will need a 3rd strip, or yellow short option I guess.  Traditional royal blue would have been better

Yellow shorts maybe the answer, or the third strip.

Personally I prefer the yellow/navy blue combination (even allowing for the 1976 nostalgia).

Anyone whinging about the shirt sponsor can wind there neck in, unless youre also advocating removing alcohol and anything containing sugar in the stadium, eh

Probably a bit of a difference between potential money laundering and fraud* dressed up as crypto trading or an overseas casino and drinking unhealthy fizzy drinks on your afternoon out, no?

*in this specific instance who knows, but across the industry as a whole it's a huge issue especially with these white label firms who go into football sponsorship

It's a shame we're not sponsored by The Athletic because you'd be 100% fine with that, correct?

I like your shirts for the new season, my friends.

I think that during the season, I'll be ordering your home jersey that I won't hesitate to wear at Valenciennes.

May these shirts bring you luck and all the best for the new season, my friends!

TBF most people including the players will have a name and number on the back so it won't actually be plain anymore !

Does anybody know how the club go about selling long sleeve shirts?

I have a preference for the long sleeve shirts but tend to just buy short sleeve as its what they usually have, but I know they do them and they even had the long sleeves on sale a month ago or so.

Well I don't like the Rollbit sponsportship and wouldn't have bought normally. I bought the gold bolt on however so (when it was £150) so have sucked it up and used the code for away shirt.

Has anyone done a click and collect order and received any notifications yet? I placed an order on Tuesday night for my kids birthday on Friday, but it's still showing as processing.

No but the kits I ordered Tuesday evening are out for delivery today. I'm sure if you went in they'd just give you what you ordered.

Just ordered one from DH Gate, will report back on the quality when I receive. Hopefully it’s as good as their England shirts.

Funny to think these debate have been going on for decades now, i found this from an old copy of On The March on just this topic, turns out everything new is old

Also interesting side note when i was looking the Ugly Inside fanzine had suggested new songs, this one from the 90s shows we used to call pompey scummers too

We’ve called pompey scummers for as long as I can remember but over the past few years people seem to have forgotten this. I hate that they’ve now turned it around on us. Even some of our fans refer to us as scummers it’s very odd.

I started going at the beginning of the 70s and I remember it was becoming quite common for supporters of numerous clubs to call their rivals “scum”. We mostly ignored them but some that went down  to Milkin’s (think that was his name) testimonial in the late 60s saw the real start of the rivalry between us. It was also the when football hooliganism was becoming all the rage and, apparently, it was a bit ‘nawty’ that night.

From that night some Saints fans changed ‘Pom’ for ‘scum’ and then referred to them as Scumpey. Tbh I can only remember them calling us scummers at first but some of ours were doing the same soon after - we should have just stuck with scumpey 😇

Not sure what sugar has got to do with this but I think there should be a ban on advertising alcohol and gambling, just like tobacco. There's obviously too much money involved though.

Prefer that to the home shirt. Even though it is a simple re-colour of the away kit.

You want stripes? Here's your fucking stripes.....

I guess this is where kits will always polarise opinions, but that training top is awful for my taste.

Design wise it's pretty horrific as the sponsor is just lost in the nonsense. Certainly wouldn't be rushing to buy that. Each to their own though.

Yup would look much better with the sponsor removed. Would definitely buy if they made it available as I don’t buy the actual kits anymore.
