Christ on a bike , what shade of pink!!  :mcinnes:

If you’d have asked a Saints fan under the East Stand at The Dell in the  days of the Dockers Enclosure (1970’s and before) , “what shade of pink shirt would you like to see Saints play in” , you’d have probably ended up with a smack  in the mouth.

So we’ve moved on from that obviously, just hope it’s not the high vis pink as shown.

Go back another half century and pink was seen as a male colour... fashion eh!

A lot of our away shirt designs have left me cold but if we do something special when wearing them, suddenly they become iconic. Case in point - Anfield 2017, Simms passing to Long in that weird Under Armour black kit. Good times!

I am really offended the kits are not released yet. And if they release the kits in piece-meal fashion.... I will quit g Saints altogether.

If this is helping, which of course it is, then all is good. I don’t think my son has a problem or sees pink as a girls colour, but I know a lot of people do, especially around football.

The majority of PL clubs now just release details of their new home shirt at the end of the season via the website with no big fanfare.

But we go a bit pony by delaying it all well into July.

Parking at the stadium, they went to pick up their season tickets and the club had stopped free parking, it cost £1. So they refused to pay for their season tickets.

I'm sure they cherish the money they have saved by abandoning their support in 2010.

I do often wonder what happened to them. Did they just give up Saints and miss out on two of the most enjoyable seasons in our history? Intriguing.

One of the great images of our recent history.

The other that reminds me of more turbulent times and the takeover talk, is the image of Barry the Briefcase

Yep, I was just looking at this! The club statement paints them as an online gaming and e-sports company but in reality they’re just another gambling firm.

Not that you woukd know it from the club announcement:

"Rollbit is making huge strides in the online gaming, esports and entertainment space. Through their platform, Rollbit blends entertainment with investment in an innovative way, including the creation of digital gaming spaces for its users to explore".

Do they think we're fucking stupid?

Well they're hardly going to say "Yeah we're just another online gambling site like the rest" are they?

Are Rollbit and DuelBits the same company? Or was the DB rumour a load of nonsense

Expand

Sounds a bit as if someone got told the shirt sponsor is 'some gambling firm... bit, bits or something' and then someone Googled and turned 2+2 into 5 and landed on Duelbits

Could have sworn they banned clubs in the PL from having a betting site as their sponsor.

Expand

They did but the ban couldn't come into effect until 2026-27 so that active sponsorship deals all had time to elapse first to avoid settlements and legal action

We were going to have Duelbits.
It’s owned by a Sotonian

didn’t work out so he’s sponsoring AFCB

This isn’t a gambling site.. it’s a “gaming” site *wink wink*

In all honesty I don’t really care who the sponsor is as long as they pay us a fucking shit load of money so we can improve the team

We're back in the PL now. It's all about the global TV audience. They don't give a toss about actual fans.

Who cares who the sponsor is? Draper would have been nice for the nostalgia but other than that I just want whoever will pay the club the most money. We need every penny we can get to help us compete.
