Saint_clark Posted 1 January, 2024 Posted 1 January, 2024 Looks like Martin is asking why the challenge wasn't a red. Argument to be made there. 1

Saint86 Posted 1 January, 2024 Posted 1 January, 2024 Edozie's lucky he didn't get a broken ankle tbh. Hopefully not ligament damage.
James Posted 1 January, 2024 Posted 1 January, 2024 Horrible tackle on Edozie. Could easily have been red. 2
Suhari Posted 1 January, 2024 Posted 1 January, 2024 That was a shitty challenge. Hopefully nothing long term for Fandab. Fraser hattrick anyone?
Mr X Posted 1 January, 2024 Posted 1 January, 2024 Look a bit lost against teams that park the bus and hope to get lucky on the break
OttawaSaint Posted 1 January, 2024 Posted 1 January, 2024 If we had VAR that would have been a straight red. 1
Saint86 Posted 1 January, 2024 Posted 1 January, 2024 Norwich almost score again. Imagine if they had wingers and strikers with a bit better product in the final 3rd 😰!!
obelisk Posted 1 January, 2024 Posted 1 January, 2024 Team most likely to score are Norwich at the moment.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 1 January, 2024 Posted 1 January, 2024 The lunge on Edozie deserved a yellow at least - cynical nasty challenge.
Holmes_and_Watson Posted 1 January, 2024 Posted 1 January, 2024 Fraser on to dance through their defence and put us in the lead.

James Posted 1 January, 2024 Posted 1 January, 2024 Norwich flying in all over the place here. Dirty team. 1

Holmes_and_Watson Posted 1 January, 2024 Posted 1 January, 2024 Well worked form them. Exploited that full back gap we have, giving them a short range chance.
trousers Posted 1 January, 2024 Posted 1 January, 2024 1 minute ago, Saint_clark said: Looks like Martin is asking why the challenge wasn't a red. Argument to be made there. Yep, you can see on the repay that the Norwich player left his foot planted on Edozie's ankle for far longer than he needed to. 1
James Posted 1 January, 2024 Posted 1 January, 2024 All their chances coming down the left. We basically don't have a left back defensively.

Holmes_and_Watson Posted 1 January, 2024 Posted 1 January, 2024 Aribo using his strength. We may need more of that, to power something past a compact defence.
farawaysaint Posted 1 January, 2024 Posted 1 January, 2024 (edited) If Edozie is out long term I am going to review bomb all Delia’s cookbooks on Amazon. Edited 1 January, 2024 by farawaysaint 1 1
Holmes_and_Watson Posted 1 January, 2024 Posted 1 January, 2024 Pluses of MartinBall - Fluid lineup, with players mobile and able to exploit spaces. Minues of MartinBall - It ends up with Manning being where you'd want your striker. 🙂
Saint Fan CaM Posted 1 January, 2024 Posted 1 January, 2024 We’re going to be undone by a turn around break.
FarehamSaintJames Posted 1 January, 2024 Posted 1 January, 2024 Manning is a liability. Stephens is not a full back. We look vulnerable on the counter attack. Edozie going off is a huge loss.

Holmes_and_Watson Posted 1 January, 2024 Posted 1 January, 2024 Another good break for Norwich. Rowe is one of their better players. Aribo nowhere in getting back again, and they had a 2 on 1 on that side.
Block41 Saint Posted 1 January, 2024 Posted 1 January, 2024 Wrong ball from A.Armstrong there. KWP was in.
Saint_clark Posted 1 January, 2024 Posted 1 January, 2024 Crossfield pass into acres of space where Manning should be defending, he blocks the cross and turns around to moan at Aribo on the far side for not blocking the pass I guess 😂 defend your position you muppet.

Sheaf Saint Posted 1 January, 2024 Posted 1 January, 2024 What on Earth was Manning doing for that move? Jesus! 1
Saint86 Posted 1 January, 2024 Posted 1 January, 2024 Norwich certainly looking the more dangerous atm. Manning's complete absence of defensive positioning is going to give me a heart attack 🤣 Need to get our noses in front!
Holmes_and_Watson Posted 1 January, 2024 Posted 1 January, 2024 Good form us thre. Fraser just eased of of it. But some crisp passing that we can do, now they've got forward a bit more. They are getting loads of space, as they know to exploit that fullback spot. Moaning for a penaly that wasn't. Aribo in the right position.
