So we have a front runner closely followed by a dark horse.

They could be a couple of nags trailing in last.

English rose motif on lead horse’s hindquarters. So, Southgate or Carsley.

Looks like the England Rugby badge to me.... the triumphal return of the Sir Clive Woodward and Harry Redknapp dream team maybe....? 😁

I wanted us to lift Peter Crouch up at a corner like a second row in rugby' – Clive Woodward at Southampton - The Athletic

Lee Carsley, not ITK just a wild guess based on the  branding of an english rose  on a picture of a horses ass  posted by someone on an internet forum 🤔

As Trousers said the leading horse is probably Minella Trump.

Hjulmand translates to Wheelman. The jockey is Brian Hughes, say what you see...

Dont worry, it will turn out to be Hope Powell and Turkish will tell us that he said it pointed to be a filly.

The picture is most likely Minella Trump ridden by Brian Hughes leading Fifty Ball ridden by Jamie Moore. Minella Trump is owned by T G Leslie and trained by D McCain.

None of the above leads me to any(feasible) manager/head coach I know

It’ll probably be a tedious link based on the colours. There are enough there to spin a story to a team they have managed historically.

When are wr likely to see the major outlets breaking this news then Turkish.

Haven’t you seen the media outlets?

In the last 24 hours we’ve all but confirmed Juric, Rohl, Corberan and Hjulmand. Excellent work all round.

Our managerial team is huge.

Exactly right Leighsterr well done

it’s Martin Compston playing the role of Scottish gangster Paul Ferris in the film the Wee Man, the Wee Man was his nickname. Which is also the nickname of Ryan Fraser.

Our leader, who is this blown in on Northern winds

A proud craftsman, a reliable valet to guide us

Hailing from a proud land, is it viking stock?

To repair a torn battlement, to heal from split

To mend us, from black and blue, all chewed up

To make gold from dust

He been far but in many ways is coming home

A bridge, a castle and a land of making, but oh, a port?

Welcome in, welcome in

Our managerial team is huge.

We had one poster wanting Saints to become a global powerhouse.

Others have criticised their belief they can abandon tradition and develop new footballing philosophy.

SR have immediately come out to address both. Looking back to early days of Italian football dominance, we are to have The Year of 4 Managers, just like they had in AD69.

Everyone knew Fraser was coming back, so your example was stating the obvious on that one.

Think I gave up on the apple, snakes, people one. I would go and find it but really don’t care.

I would love to see SR call his bluff and manage to persuade Jose to come in for the remainder of the season. He’s stated he wants a lower league team with potential - that’s us. No more messing around Dragan - you want to play with the big boys, go make a statement appointment rather than another risky hipster one.

and this is Perplexity's answer

"Based on the riddle and the search results, the next Southampton FC manager is likely to be Kasper Hjulmand. The riddle contains several clues that point to this conclusion:

  1. "Blown in on Northern winds" suggests a Scandinavian origin, which fits Hjulmand as he is Danish. "A proud craftsman, a reliable valet to guide us" could refer to his experience as the former Denmark national team manager

  2. "Hailing from a proud land, is it viking stock?" directly hints at Denmark, known for its Viking history.

  3. "He been far but in many ways is coming home" could reference Hjulmand's international experience and potential return to club management

  4. "A bridge, a castle and a land of making, but oh, a port?" might be a clever reference to Southampton, which is a major port city.

The search results indicate that Kasper Hjulmand has emerged as a strong contender for the Southampton manager position, with his odds significantly improving from 16/1 to 5/2. This aligns with the riddle's suggestion of a new leader coming to guide the team."

Chatgpt solved that riddle and recommended three managers.

Kjetil Knutsen

Steven Gerrard

Ralph Hasen

Hey good old chat is on to something. He's the boy for us. Been at Bodo/Glimt for 6 years. Won the Eliteserian 4 times in the past 5 years.

More Euro experience than our lot.

His style is relentless attacking, quick transitions, and intense pressing. All crafted around technically complex strategy.

Our lads should have no bother adapting to that!!

I'd never heard of him but he appears to be quite a coveted manager but has no interest in moving. Good for him.

According to Google he's the fella that refused to speak to Ajax.

He sounds like he is happy where he is. Doesn't need all the nonsense that surrounds a big club.

Who could blame him.

The bridge would be his time in Lyngby. The castle would be Mainz FC, the land is Denmark, and of course we would be the port.

I did notice the Split part in this ramble, but discounted as Solak is Serbian. They hate Croatia so it is a surprise.
