Small one is very poor tonight. Our final ball is pretty bad. Need to run at them at pace I to the box. Get that pen to set us off

Manning picks up a yellow for stop[ping another counter. We're getting more vulnerable to that has the half has progressed. While at the same time, not getting anywhere near as many chances ourselves. We;ve managed to tire ourselves out attacking. 🙂

Spot on.

He slows us down massively, dare I say it Charles does too a tad, we miss Downes.

Ooh Adams late chance...

Nil nil HT.

Definitely been the better side but lack cutting edge. Ref and lino aren't helping.

Sub Bree -> Manning, Aribo -> Smallbone, Mara -> Adams

Yeah how I'd do it too. AA been quiet too. If anything Che has been involved more but I'd still sub Che over AA.

Smallbone’s crossing is piss poor.

We have got to make changes early as possible in the second half or at HT.

Aribo, Stu Armstrong or Fraser would improve this.

came to post this, its been terrible always hitting first man.

Anyway plymouth will get tired and we will score

Please don't make this thread a moan-fest.

It's going to be a breeze. In 0-0 at the break having kept possession well and cut them apart a couple of times. 4-0 having worn them down by 90 mins. Cmon lads.

Still on track for this.

They've got our number at the moment.

Our number is easy to work out to be honest, we lack pace and a target man.

Everything else is spot on.

Sunak - get out. Bellend.

Smallbone booked, pulling back a player. Sun him off at HT.

Bednarek and THB playing very well, so calm and composed.

Sunaks parents are fans but clearly Rishi doesn’t want to be there. “ you mean I’ve got to sit in the cold “

We've been great but finishing has been rather poor. I don't understand why Adams doesn't do a better job of staying onside. That far up the pitch, it's literally a quick look, step back, then go, and finish like he did. It's not like the defender stepped up.

Walking football is fine as long as you mix it up with balls over the top or through the lines to runners. Otherwise it's far too easy to defend.

Not good enough. Smallbone and Adams the week links that are holding us back this game. Manning as well to a lesser extent, but not as bad as the other two.

Edozie again our best outlet, alcaraz and kwp dictating a lot of play with Armstrong. But with Che and smallbone either wasting chances or killing our attacks it's just not enough atm.

You could easily sub off any of Adams (missed chances), A. Armstrong and Alcaraz (non existent tonight), Smallbone (what does he provide), Manning (absolute liability) tonight.

WHen you say the forwards are non-existent...plenty of movement from them, no ealy balls over the top or to their feet.......none at all really

Love to see us hammering a few shots when we get close to their box. They have numbers back so it's hard to break through but some long shots could be the answer as they might ricochet off someone and cause some havoc. The danger is they get one on the break because they have the players for it. We need a goal soon after half-time.

We've created a ton of chances in that first half. The goal will come.

There may have been periods of "walking football" but they've generally been followed by a chance. Slow, slow, fast. Ready to pounce

I watched countless runners not had the ball played over to them tonight, so frustrating.

81% possession. Loads of lovely passing, exploiting space and movements. Plenty of balls across their box. Only 2 shots on target though.

We're using the squad tonight. Lots of bright moments, but we have the experience, form and quality of Stu, Aribo and Fraser in the second half to grab the game.

We were very dominant. Argyll had some counters though, as per our usual drawbacks. Also as normal these days, we were organised in stopping them.

If anything, we dropped off our tempo as we looked for new ways of getting at their goal.

Sky put up 110 successful passes in the final third, to their 8. That sums up the dominance.

0-0 is 5/1 at the moment. Awfully tempting to put a tenner on.

Don't waste a fucking tenner. You may as well burn it.

Don't know what Aribo and Stu did to deserve being dropped. Hopefully they will get some minutes in the second half.

We always look worse without Downes. Hope he's gonna be better soon.

Edozie has been good again but their RB has done well so far. Let's see how he manages against Fraser once he tires later.
