Everything was fine until Baz did that. This tense finish is entirely on him.

Exactly right. What he did was inexcusable and I hope he will learn from it.

FFS got out of jail there they scored an perfectly good goal that was disallowed and us with the biggest keeper f up ever.... Still a win.is a win but we should have been out of sight!

Should have won by at least 3 clear goals. Missed some massive chances and gave them a gift of a goal. Their offside goal was very unlucky on them but we deserved the win.

Mmm, let’s not forget Plymouth had a good goal ruled offside, so that was no way a convincing win especially given the possession we had. Overall though the three points winning ugly could prove very, very decisive come season end.

Their header wasn't a goal, because it was offside? So you can't really call it an 'offside goal'

Silly mistake but that was a fucking breeze. Easy and dominant. Should have scored more but Plymouth got fucking lucky.

UTS

Apart from a perfectly good goal being disallowed.

Totally thrashed them 2-1.

Accurate. We were almost completely dominant and yet it's thanks to a disallowed goal from them that should have stood that we haven't fucked two points here. We still need to be more clinical and Baz needs to stop the brain farts. Other than that it was a decent performance which was (initially) without Downes, Aribo and Stu in midfield, all who have been key players for us lately.

It’ll end 2-2

Tbh…it should be 2-2.
they had goal wrongly disallowed.
bit of a huff and puff effort tonight against a pretty poor side with an appalling away record.
we will need to be better than that display in upcoming fixtures.

That wasn’t a convincing win despite what possession and stats might say

It was pretty fucking convincing. Its not like we were passing it between our defenders, we had multiple chances to increase our goal tally. It was dominant.

We won. It's 3 points. Nobody - not even Bazunu - gets called a cunt tonight.

He can get called a cun intead which is a pube away 😂

Job done, 3 points no injuries no sending offs.

Definitely does not go down as a vintage performance. Baz's gift made it look a lot closer.

Some of those players looked a bit leggy. Norwich game will be tough.

Another day we would have scored 5 or 6. I think changing so much of the team disrupts us to some degree but the gamble has paid off and now we can have some fresher players for Monday.

Could and should have been 5 or 6. Sloppy from Baz to gift them a lifeline, but all in all the teams were on different levels for most of the game. The train rolls on

Behave - we battered them and gifted them a free goal. Ok, their offside goal should have stood but we were worthy winners on the night.

We're not going to go through the rest of the season winning comfortably every game. There'll be games like this where we dominate yet only manage to scrape a win in the end. Given our overall form, I'll happily take the less convincing wins. Past the 50 point mark and within touching distance of Ipswich (for now). Would have bitten your hand off for that 2 months ago! COYR!

I'm sure we lost a game since then!

Barely. Conceded the occasional stupid goal in stoppage time when we’ve already won. Other than that, it’s been peachy.

Had to be patient but we got there. Going to see a lot more of that second half of the season, teams coming to frustrate and it wasn’t too long ago we’d have drawn or lost that tonight.

Shame about the Baz brain fart and the effect on GD but if we do go on to overtake Ipswich I don’t think that will matter in the end anyway. In someways it may get do him good to have that happen as a harsh reminder about complacency. That being said I wish we had Plymouth’s keeper in our goal.

Cracking week of results that.

Wouldn't have mattered if our plethora of decent chances were converted, right? So yeah, overall pretty fucking lucky, old Plymouth.

I think the knock that Bednarek took just before their goal put our passing patterns out.

But one fluff doesn't matter when you score two.

Good finish to the year.

It doesn't work like that - we'll never know because if their goal stands the course of the game is altered.

Lucky, lucky Saints. Should have been a goal down despite all that possession but the lino made yet another mistake thankfully. But it shouldn't take such luck to win the game. Saints were so superior although the attacking third has yet again let us down.

There again, it is three more points so I'll let them off this time.

17 unbeaten, another home win and people are still moaning. I'm glad most of this forum don't go to games, as the atmosphere is completely different amongst people that go, to those that don't.

Almost completely dominated the match, albeit with a bit of luck needed to avert it being one of those days.

I’m not going to complain about the three points! :D

Yeah I get that, but I'd rather they were both on from the start and subbed later.

What, you gonna sub them after 30 minutes? Otherwise that's not rotating.
