hypochondriac Posted 1 September, 2022 Posted 1 September, 2022 Any idea what he's like? Assumes this is a good signing based on the experience of our head of recruitment.
Saint Matty 76 Posted 1 September, 2022 Posted 1 September, 2022 (edited) £8m rising to £10m with add-ons. Buy-back (no idea on fee) & sell-on for City. Plays on both wings. Edited 1 September, 2022 by Saint Matty 76 1
Colinjb Posted 1 September, 2022 Posted 1 September, 2022 (edited) A lot of money on a kid...... Hope he follows hot on the heels of Bazunu, Lavia and Livramento. Welcome aboard nipper. Edited 1 September, 2022 by Colinjb

I'm not sure how much he'll offer this season but he certainly looks like he has plenty of potential
Saint Matty 76 Posted 1 September, 2022 Posted 1 September, 2022 Good words. I think he'll have a bigger role than anticipated considering the lack of Gakpo.

Definitely, he'll take Walcott's spot on the bench and get used. I can see Elyounoussi dropping to the bench for Djenepo and getting much less game time now.

Saint86 Posted 1 September, 2022 Posted 1 September, 2022 Wasn't there already a thread covering Sam Edozie?

saintant Posted 16 December, 2023 Posted 16 December, 2023 2 goals in 2 games. Could he be starting to reveal his true capabilities? Let's hope so.
Patches O Houlihan Posted 16 December, 2023 Posted 16 December, 2023 As discussed earlier I think Sam plays best with confidence. He know's he's not great at recovery tackles and tracking back. So if you play a proper LB behind him you give him licence to play his game. Play Bree or KWP behind him and he'll do fine. Play Manning behind him and we'll ship loads of goals down our left, he'll be less willing to just play his game, RM and the fans will get pissed and then he'll stop being a starter again. Plus Flynn Downes returning gives everyone confidence that many opposition breakaway attacks will just get nipped in the bud. Maybe Smallbone, Fraser and KWP can give him some tips on accurate passes from the byline having passed a defender we might have scored a couple more if he had that skill locked down 3
