We need to get rid and bring someone else in even if it’s only a loan.

Won’t get rid of him but as Martin hinted at we might have to rethink January window. Really think Che is expecting to leave.

Who is this Aribo fella? We could have done with him last season 😂

He was great for Rangers scored a few in their Europa Cup run. Scored in the final. Still convinced he will come good. Top guy and good attitude.

Why don't you think we'll get rid of him? We may not be able to I suppose but fuck me he needs to go. Swap with Bournemouth for Kieffer Moore maybe?

All round decent display today. Gotta sort the striker issue though, Armstrong needs a reliable partner.

Downes MOTM, way too good for this league. Similar with THB

Really good performance overall but attack got to be better, should've had about 6 today. Fraser really poor but Aribo did well

Shame that the other 3 all won as well, top 4 starting to break away?

Yeah there's no way that AA wasn't MOTM even if Downes was good again.

Much better today, more progressive passing instead of keeping the ball for the sake of possession.

Literally, I don't think there was a bad player today, but some questionable finishing. Aribo looked very controlling when he came on and Mara had a bit of a swagger about him even if the decision making was missing.

Happy with that, shame the the 3 above are also chugging along nicely.

We do need another striker though.

The key difference for me was that we played fewer final-third passes and opted for balls through the defence and earlier delivery. Compared with Wednesday night we were down 10% on possession but had about ten times the scoring opportunities.

For me, Charles in for Smallbone helped that to happen.

Well... for those who've been reluctant to embrace Martin-ball, I'd say today's your surrender day.  Even though, we coulda shoulda had a few more goals, what we saw wasn't just effective, it was f@#$in' ENTERTAINING.  When you get joy just seeing your team zing their way out of defense, life is good!  Loved the game, love the team, it's fantastic that we aren't just 11 good players... the whole bench gets it too and contributes beautifully.  Aribo?!! wow.  that was beautiful to see.   We just might have a beautiful few months in store.

First time all streams were rubbish...frustrating to watch between buffering but from what I saw it looked like our best performance of the season - should have been 5 or 6 goals at least - I saw Fraser miss about four chances. Armstrong looked immense. We looked hungry and were moving the ball faster. Great job. Shame everyone around us won too but we can't do better than keep winning.

Very good performance today. Thought we actually looked better without Sulemana. Armstrong offers more from a defensive stand point and keeps hold of the ball better.

Arma and KWP had very good games in particular. Baz was solid when called upon. Manning generally pretty good and offered a fair amount going forward. Impressed by Aribo when he came on (if he's going to play like that he can start), and Fraser as well. Even Mara looked half decent when he came on.

That was a really good performance.

We set out a team to get at them with a mixed range of passing at a good tempo. Our two goals, were both really good moves, combingin the above with a bit of skill too.

AA getting the goals to match his work rate. Another super performacne from him, and he'll be disapointed not to have done and scored more.

His work rate and approach can be seen elsewhere. Downes puts in a shift, and we're a very mobile side. At least right up to the final ball. That's not just players playing into their normal positions either. Our players move into varous positions as the play dictates. KWP was over on the other flank at points. Manning was allowed a bit more freedom today too, which suits him more.

Cardiff came into it a little more before half time, and started with more possession in the second. But we would have felt very hard done by, if they had got anything from this game. Our usual weak spots in the full back positions, and direct counters were where they had a couple of opportunities. But our team know these are weak spots, and were alert enough to deal with them. With that second goal, we had a bit of a cushion too.

Although it was two goals, we had plenty of shots and even more nearly moments that could have led to chances. From all over the pitch, and noticable when Fraser came on.

Earlier in the game, we had all the build up. But the players who we'd want to be on the end of things are often part of the build up, so it's touch to create chances. Having Adams on as a focal point to worry their defenders, gave AA more room. In a similar way to how recent teams have been overmarking Sulemana, allowing other players space.

Although Adams had chances, with one really, really good one later on, and didn't finish, there were lots of positives in his game.

We also got to see players in a slightly differnt way. With Adams on, an on form AA not only wan;t our only striker, but had someone to put passes into. As a team, we were able to be a little more forward.

Aribo (fitter and quicker) made a difference coming on again, and Fraser just terrified their defence. If anything he shot on sight too often, letting them off the hook.

Downes was all round excellent, while Charles made good solid passing deicsions. WIth better heading, he could be a threat from set peices too. Stu is our best dribbler, setting up one goal and nearly getting right through himself later on.

We were very organised defensivly. All of that passing is paying off as the players know where they have to be at any time to get that style moving. We were comfortable playing it out. Without being overly troubled Baz did everything he needed to, with one good run out to head the ball clear.

A convincing win, with lots of good performances. And the manner of the win was off of the things Martin has been bringing in all season, so he'll be very pelased at a lot of that today. Lots more to come as well.

Probably the most enjoyable game of the season. Only thing missing was a bit more composure in front of goal, could've won that by 5-6. Back 4 all very solid today, Downes and Charles very composed and need to be the starting midfield pair in every game, AA deserved his hat trick, worked his socks off. A good afternoon all round. #WeMarchOn

Convict Colony often points in the direction of Soccerstreams and the one today with Dean Hammond's commentary was really good.

Cardiff were passive but that was the most convincing win of the season. Yes, Adam Armstrong was MOTM but defence was fantastic, Downes & Charles were superb, liked Alcaraz & Aribo. Very satisfying viewing.

The window is less than a month away and Adams was much better today, didn't judge the offside as usual for the disallowed goal chance. For me just get rid of him. Manning was better too but he leaves too much of a gap outside him. Most of the players played well. Very good sweep up header by Bazunu. Good goals. The best thing for me was the tempo was much improved and there was more effort to play forwards and make attacking runs. Recycling is fine but just continually recycling as on Wednesday isn't. As a result we created a lot more today.
