And right on cue, Baz does that. Think that's a penalty personally.

It didn't impact the ball, which was already gone. Which is why it wasn't given 🤷‍♀️

What was a clear pen was the foul on smallbone at 0-0

it wasn't given as the ref made a bad call...it was a penalty every day of the week really

See penalties all the time for off the ball fouls.

Lovely move there. KWP must be loving getting this freedom. Credit to Martin, for setting things up to allow this.

Means there's space for them to exploit somewhere though. Need to be careful.

Why are we chanting sacked in the morning at Rooney, given our record for fucking it up!!

We must secretly want him as Martin's repalcement. 🙂

And has played at the highest level, while still willing to work on a project in the Championship. We'll have to punt our Man CIty-lite ideals, and go for being Man Utd-lite. 🙂

Thinking that as I typed. Was definitely not pressing "submit reply" when the ball was in their possession down that flank. 🙂

Not really. It looked clumsy, granted, but the attacker had already won the header and fluffed it, so the collision didn't prevent a goal scoring opportunity.

Not really? It was a foul anywhere else on the pitch lol

Preventing a goal scoring opportunity is a red card offence. You can still commit a foul without committing that specific offence.

If they had anything about them they'd be able to pick us off on the break here, KWP playing right up top on the right and Bree disappearing into attacking midfield leaving only THB and Bednarek back.

AA's workrate got us the ball back. But with him out there getting it, we've noone in the middle. It's one thing we could do with being a bit braver at. Making sure we have someone in there, and giving cover for that gap from deeper.

Good points, but the bar for what constitutes a foul in the box is always higher. I'm just pointing out why it's not a 'clear' penalty. Giving them a free shot from 12 yards would have been too great a reward when you consider the attacker had already messed up his chance to score.
