Team of the Championship season (...so far)

Just a bit of fun for those of us who follow the Championship as a whole, with us around a quarter of the way through the season, he's my team of the Championship season so far (though you could easily just pick the whole of Leicester's team...).4-2-3-1 for me. Any you argue with? 😁 Any other Saints players that would get into this team? Should AA be in there?

 

GK - Mads Hermansen (Leics)

RB - KWP (Saints)

CB - Wout Faes (Leics)

CB - Pascal Struijk (Leeds)

LB - Leif Davis (Ipswich)

CM - Wilfred N'didi (Leics)

CM - Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (Leics)

RW - AA (Saints)

AM - Conor Chaplin (Ipswich)

LW - Stephy Mavididi (Leics)

Str - Jack Clarke (Sunderland)

Initially it was Jonathan Rowe but the bias took over.

Interesting selection, and adds more weight to the argument that we are, and will remain, far behind Leicester this season.

One of Gabriel Sara/Jonathon Rowe from Norwich have to be in there. Both been very good so far this season.

It pains me to say it, but just leicester. 12 wins out of 13 suggests they probably have the best players across all positions

Certainly the best team, may not be the best players per position and they were lucky in a few games over the first six matches. It also shows the value of the Manager we missed out on as well.
