mitch01 Posted 4 October, 2023 Posted 4 October, 2023 Does anyone know what the prospects are for tickets for this one being available for general sale? I can see that Hull and Preston are but I guess it's different for a London game. Live in the area and was hoping to make it a long to this one and would rather not sit quietly in the (surely very friendly) home end. Cheers!
TheAlehouseBrawlers Posted 5 October, 2023 Posted 5 October, 2023 I would think no chance tbh. Millwall only sell the top tier to away fans, around 2,000, they'll get snapped up pretty quickly.Having said that, the last time we went there back in the Championship, we sold out quick and they did relent and give us the centre section of the lower tier but Leeds only had the upper recently. If you do blag one, and although being local, you'll still be corralled outside for some time after before being allowed out!

TheAlehouseBrawlers Posted 10 October, 2023 Posted 10 October, 2023 These went on sale this morning and apparently the 2,000 were mostly sold by lunchtime, according to Nick Illingsworth on the UI. It was also suggested the club are trying to get more in the lower tier.
oldsarum Posted 11 October, 2023 Posted 11 October, 2023 Extra tickets allocated, so total allocation 3,005 now https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/news/article/ticket-allocation-increased-for-trip-to-millwall?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=tic-millwallaway-2324&utm_term=ticket allocation increased&utm_content=image 1
RobJones1971 Posted 11 October, 2023 Posted 11 October, 2023 Hi, I’m looking for 2 adult tickets in the away end if anyone does want to sell a couple! Thanks Rob
Turkish Posted 11 October, 2023 Posted 11 October, 2023 First visit from the DEF to Millwall for years, can hear them locking their doors and boarding up their windows from here.
TheAlehouseBrawlers Posted 14 October, 2023 Posted 14 October, 2023 (edited) Hearing now that there are no trains between London Bridge and South Bermondsey (bus replacements) due to engineering works. I'm a little surprised the OB have agreed with the increase in tickets for obvious reasons. The infamous *cough* DEF may have to fall back on the old tried-and-tested Transit Van manoeuvre. Also read that they have been allowing away fans in the lower level (only) if they've got a small following. Bigger supported teams get the upper (only). Looks like we're the first club to get both this season. Slower getaway than ever this time, that's a lot of buses to fill. Edit: Hull at Millwall Edited 15 October, 2023 by TheAlehouseBrawlers Added pic
warsash saint Posted 15 October, 2023 Posted 15 October, 2023 So have we got the whole of top & bottom tier?
OnceaSaintalwaysaSaint Posted 16 October, 2023 Posted 16 October, 2023 Anyone know how the lower tier tickets are selling? They don't go on sale to Saints Plus members until the 23rd October. Thought I'd get to see more games around London in the Championship, but if anything, it's harder to get away tickets than in the premiership. Guess there's always Preston in midweek 😏
oldsarum Posted 16 October, 2023 Posted 16 October, 2023 On ugly inside website, it says currently a few upper tier left and a couple of hundred lowers tier tickets left 1

warsash saint Posted 30 October, 2023 Posted 30 October, 2023 (edited) Have the rail closures from London Bridge to South Bermondsey been confirmed? If so, what's gonna be the best way of getting there? Edited 31 October, 2023 by warsash saint

I suspect many will still go via the London bridge to south bermondsey route but I think it'll be fucking horrendous with queues etc as you just know there won't be anywhere near enough buses both in quantity and regularity. I'm still undecided but will probably jump on the jubilee line to either Bermondsey or Canada water. Both 25-30 mins to the ground. 1
