Let's face it, our tactics are basically negative. More interested in passing than scoring. Martin thinks he knows something the rest of the league don't. Meanwhile the best teams play at a higher speed and score goals.

What a truly awful result. Killed any momentum. You have to beat the weakest teams at home, no excuses, I'm not sure we'll make top 6 with Martin in charge. It really is terrible being a Saints fan.

How many times have we seen an opposition manager make a change to their shape and turn a game?

How many times have we seen Martin change a game?

The guy loves himself and thinks he is too clever.

Not good enough but it seems we had enough chances but failed to take all but one of them. That will be RM's message and I guess it's hard to argue with him.

Shocking second half. First 10 minutes of Russball, dicking around with too many passes at the back. Three shit subs in one hit and it was all down hill from there. Garbage.

Why on earth do you take your best player off? Absolute madness. Thrown the game away

The moment Rotherham made an early switch and tactics change he was shitting himself that their manager would be seen as the genius. So he took off our best player in the hope we'd still win and he'd be hailed the genius.

I know it’s a fairly new problem but does anyone think we need a striker/goalscorer?

That’s almost as bad as forest at home last season for me. Dreadful result.

We won’t be going up this season, no consistency and no killer instinct.

Does anyone actually want to go up?

And even with the goal that we did score, it was criminal that Che couldn't get that header on target.

Just like Ralph, as soon as the opposition played their Plan B we were screwed.

80% possession.  20 shots at home against a side one off the bottom. Taking the lead after 2 mins and not winning is shockingly bad. Russball isn't working.

As predicted the veritable banana skin. Even got the score right. Don’t like to be  right. It seems the moment we see an easy win on the horizon and on here we get 4-0 score predictions and the like it all goes tits up.

My guess would be that the half time chat was along the lines of 'keep the ball, pass them to death and they'll tire and allow us to pick them off.

Leicester on 30 points - Saints on 17. Huge difference in managerial quality and not much to do with player quality in my book, with exception of Che Adams who is as impotent and mobile as a brick. He starts and we’re weaker somehow?!? Martin is not learning anything from past mistakes OR successes for that matter.

Why is it Russell's fault that the players can't finish so many clear cut chances? Too easy to blame the manager for this one.

Yes I wouldn't have made that triple substitution at that moment but we should have had 2 or 3 goals by then

But we didn't, so keep them on until we do.
