Baz looks a lot better today - still critical of how early he dives though. That save he made from long range early on he dove so early that he had to adjust and make the save in front of his chest, looked a lot more awkward than it needed to if he'd just waited half a second to dive.

His long range passing is better than I've seen it so far.

This is a game where I'm absolutely convinced we will lose. What normally happens is that we end up winning so I'm going to predict a Saints win where we obviously concede a couple. Let's go with 3-2.

Don't want to jinx it but looking good so far...

Only 260 passes ffs.

And look how much better we look going direct. My only worry is how quickly we slipped back into slow passing sideways and backwards when there were good options through/over.

So, are we playing better because the players have finally clicked with RM's tactics/philosophy, or have we deviated from the RM master plan a tad in order to better match the player's strengths...?

Definitely the latter. A lot more organised, KWP playing much wider rather than as an inverted full back, and more importantly not camping 10 men in the final third.

Got to hold my hands up, thought AArmstrong had lost the scoring confidence. Brilliant to see him get two. Could this be the start of a great season for him?

Second was an own goal but, yep, good to see him playing with confidence

We can't possibly lose this now....... surely 🤫

I was there when we were 3-0 up against Leeds before at HT. Hopefully today ends better.

Looks like he's not getting the second. Reckon its going to go as an OG.

Has not having Charles covering the back four been an issue?

It’s hard to say as Leeds have been so pedestrian. I’m sure a better performance would have punished us more.

First goal after half time will be instrumental in determining the end result, so I want to see Saints keep pressing and going for goal. Crucial to ensure the crowd don’t get nervous and restless. Come on Saints.

Would even out the one at Sheffield I guess.

Smallbone needs to be subbed - he’s giving too much away.

And been booked. He has been a bit better today but we need to protect the booked players as Leeds start attacking
