SNSUN Posted 29 September, 2023 Posted 29 September, 2023 One thing I've learned from the last few games is that we can usually tell just from the starting line up whether we have a shot or not. Last week's starting line up with 3 central midfielders that don't add a lot was pants. One of Charles, Downes or Smallbone need to make way for a more attacking outlet like Charly or Stu (Willy, I'm looking at you presently) and Edozie, who has been our best player this season, needs to start. I'd also like to see Sulemana in from the start if at all possible. The back 5 are probably set in stone now (GB, KWP, THB, JB, RM), we just have to get right who plays in front of them.

Jacob Tanswell (Athleic) tweeted recently that Dragan wanted more control on spending, which would support why we went with the cheaper option. It was reported Piroe was interested in coming here but Leeds wanted him more, I think we would have stepped up our interest if Che had been sold earlier in the window. It’s a shame it didn’t work out that way, as he will walk for less in January or nothing at season's end. 1
