trousers Posted 3 September, 2023 Share Posted 3 September, 2023 (edited) This interview seems to have gone under the radar somewhat, amongst all the post match analysis, so thought it might be worthwhile it having its own thread given how interesting it is (IMO), especially in light of yesterday's result (it was recorded just before the game it would seem)... Some egg on face for Wilcox given yesterday's performance...? (Paraphrasing Wilcox: "everything is great at the moment") Edited 3 September, 2023 by trousers

saintant Posted 3 September, 2023 Share Posted 3 September, 2023 When JW speaks he always fills me with confidence that the club is in safe hands. I do wonder what he made of yesterday's performance because we were way off what he alludes to.

Saint Fan CaM Posted 6 September, 2023 Share Posted 6 September, 2023 Mmm, not sure what else he could have said…pretty obvious statements really. However the one interesting nugget I thought was a pointed remark about how there’s now some fight and leadership in the team…i.e. did he mean to effectively take a swipe at JWP? To be fair he did say to expect us to lose sometimes, but I doubt he was expecting such a devastating result which clearly is embarrassing for all elements of the club including the supporters. I’d love there to be a part two interview following the Sunderland match!
