Evening Car Parking Charges.

The City Council have issued a consultation on proposed changes to Evening Parking Charges.

The £2 rate for after 6pm will be scrapped in council car parks. and for example Eastgate street will be £3.70 for 3 hours, £4.60 for 4 hours or £5.50 for 5 hours.

looks like the cheapest option will be the non-council car park in West Quay Multi storey which, unless they change it is still be a £2 flat fee after 5pm.

Thanks for the warning.

According to the West Quay Multi Storey website, the £2 ticket is after 5pm, but still great for evening matches.

If you’re arriving after 7pm it’s best to just park in the open-air car park by the ‘sheds’ (Decathlon, Furniture Village, Matalan, etc). Free hours parking (with a ticket) then free from 8pm onwards. Unless anything has changed since last season.
