S-Clarke Posted 4 November, 2023 Share Posted 4 November, 2023 I thought he was pretty poor in his general play when he came on, seemed a bit rushed, but he pops up in the right positions! Good sub to have.

sfc4prem Posted 4 November, 2023 Share Posted 4 November, 2023 So far he's got x2 goals and 1 assist, but all of them pretty vital and game changing. He can do fuck all the rest of the time if he keeps this up. Super sub.

Miltonaggro Posted 4 November, 2023 Share Posted 4 November, 2023 On his debut Fraser showed immediately what he brought to a side - positive direct energy, and that’s what he’s bringing now. Also showing our goal shy strikers, Adams and Mara, how to finish like a good pro!

Saint Garrett Posted 5 November, 2023 Share Posted 5 November, 2023 Met him today, I slated the transfer back in August, but he’s been a great signing, seems to be a top bloke and really wants to be here, seems to have learned from his mistakes and probably knows this is an amazing opportunity for him to rekindle his career. Martin (and others) have created such an amazing togetherness within the squad so quickly, it’s great to see.

Some players & clubs just seem to feel "right" for each other and Fraser/Saints fit that perception.
saintwbu
Been a great signing, i’m trusting the club won’t get caught up in the excitement of his recent contributions and will wait to see what league we’re in before deciding whether he is worth signing permanently or not. Never been any doubt he’s a good Championship player, does he still cut it in the Prem if we go up? Not sure. Think we'd have been pissed off if a player had refused to play for us when facing relegation at a crucial stage of the season. On a not dissimilar theme, will he be our player if we end up in the play offs ? Obviiously depends on what was agreed with Newcastle, but seem to recall a player whose deal hadn't extended to the play offs a few years ago. 6ft8saint
I worry the press around this is very negative and the player may think we dont want him and look elsewhere. to excuse the reason as a money issue is ludicrous based on his value verses our 150m funding pot. all the other clubs dont seem to worry about FFP lets do a mancity or chelsea for a change and get the deal done

ErwinK1961
Christ, what a change it is to have someone who really wants to be here and play. Impossible not to like him. I think it was because, at the end of the Covid-delayed season, he refused a month's extension to his contract which would have enabled hims to play Bournemouth's last few games and maybe escape relegation. He signed for Newcastle and sod's law saw Howe become manager there, so they were probably not the best of friends.
