Don’t disagree, but not sure we have any other options until we get players in and Smallbone is back.

I'm not sure and he is our only real defensive cover in the middle. That is the area that worries me today. Hope it turns out different. I get that he's young but he's one of the most expensive signings made in the Championship so fat this summer so hopefully he can show why.
Hodgey Posted 19 August, 2023 Posted 19 August, 2023 That bench is pretty shocking. Needs to be much stronger to navigate a 50 game season
musesaint Posted 19 August, 2023 Posted 19 August, 2023 Worrying that we are already suffering from early season injuries on just the third game in.
Convict Colony Posted 19 August, 2023 Posted 19 August, 2023 That midfield looks weaker than my jokes 2
musesaint Posted 19 August, 2023 Posted 19 August, 2023 High scoring game coming up. We’ll probably let a bucket load in but hopefully will score plenty up the other end.

Not my worldly goods as that would be a tad overdramatic, but yes I’m confident enough in saints letting us down that I’ve spread some bets around with the idea Plymouth will win today. The odds are favourable to do so as the bookies do not share my view either. If I’m not right and lose some money then I’m probably celebrating a win.

Gone for Plymouth to win and both teams to score 1

I think Manning will probably step in there a lot in open to create a 3, and be the one to move into the middle when Stu tires with Perraud coming in at LB.
Miltonaggro Posted 19 August, 2023 Posted 19 August, 2023 Come on Saints, support in good voice, set about the Janners!

OttawaSaint Posted 19 August, 2023 Posted 19 August, 2023 FFS, gave it straight to them from fannying about.
Dr Who? Posted 19 August, 2023 Posted 19 August, 2023 Let’s not play out from the back, just get it away from there in anyway possible, don’t care if it is row Z or up the field. Let’s play football up the other end.
BotleySaint Posted 19 August, 2023 Posted 19 August, 2023 Back foot from the start. Usual self inflicted panic.
Miltonaggro Posted 19 August, 2023 Posted 19 August, 2023 Stu armstrong looks a yard short so far. Cost us two decent opportunities. 1

OttawaSaint Posted 19 August, 2023 Posted 19 August, 2023 Last few Saints mangers love a ludicrous tactic. RM: fannying about at the back RS: don't ever try to score NJ: high balls to midgets RH: suicidal high line

Miltonaggro Posted 19 August, 2023 Posted 19 August, 2023 (edited) Looks very like Sheffield Wednesday so far. Saints attempting to pass them to death, Plymouth drilled to harry and saints in possession. Physically saints won’t compete so let’s hope they get knackered. Edited 19 August, 2023 by Miltonaggro
