JWP was excellent of course but I went KWP, first half especially he was brilliant.

Lovely to vote when we haven’t been terrible!

Few candidates but I went for Smallbone, very impressed with him. We've been blessed having two quality Championship players to slot into the side without having to spend anything.

Some decent performances. JWP tidy and got the assist, Edozie and Tella both lively, I thought Smallbone had a decent game in a position he's not used to playing, and Manning and Bednarek were decent too but my vote is for KWP. He's just a class above and we'd be lucky to keep him IMO.

JWP is the man. Offers coming in from a big prem club and the beckoning finger of European football calling and he puts everything into it.  His loyalty and dedication should be admired and looked up to (cough cough Salisu).

KWP for me. Mobile. Attacking. Good in the tackle, even late on when he helped Smallbone out. Marshalled others. Linked up really well with JWP, sometimes Tella and others. He always looks better on the right for me. So with Tino gone, hopefully we can keep him here.

Smallbone for me.  Thought he was excellent - always available for a pass, moved it quickly and rarely gave it away.  Very much a part of us controlling the game and not looking under the cosh as we saw it out.

I voted for Smallbone, but KWP probably right too

Guess I am just more used to seeing KWP as the player of the match for Saints (and he is probably the best player at the club, all things considered).

But today, really like what Smallbone brings to the team. And weirdly, looking forward to seeing him having to deal with a better side and putting more tackles in.

Yeh, KWP for me.....just, with JWP. We must do everything to keep KWP now that Tino is off. He looked like he's found his mojo again.

I see there are 2 votes for Aribo  🤣.......presumably for nearly breaking into a trot.

I voted for KWP - absolutely quality all game. Top player 🙂

Prowsey was brilliant too and lovely assist for Che 🙂

Smallbone was excellent in the middle, always looking to receive the ball and dictate 🙂

I went for Will, consistently excellent for the whole 90 minutes, showed the bravery that Russell was demanding. I can’t blame him for being outmuscled for their goal, thought KWP left his man too early giving him the space to score from the resulting knock down.

So many good individual performances.

Tella and KWP link up. Edozie skinning people endlessly. Back four looked solid. CM’s had a good understanding of each other.

For me it was Smallbone, held it together very well in midfield allowing JWP and Alcaraz to push forward. Was excellent.

Edozie for me - they just couldn’t handle him. One of their players even had the cheek to imply he dived after they blatantly stamped on his foot!

The amount of free kicks and penalties he’s going to win this season is crazy.

Smallbone was the basis of it all for me, everything went through him. The tempo, the composure, calmed everyone else down.

If we were a little more loose in that area it wouldn't have been as easy on the eye as it was. He may struggle against more physical midfields on his own, but technically he can run a game at this level.

Very pleasantly surprised by Smallbone. Composed, always looking for space, played with his head up and good range of passing. Like having a decent new signing.

Lots of useful interceptions/repossessions too.
