I know the season before last I was told we had 17k season ticket holders. Good going after our relegation.

We have 3000 "new" season ticket holders but that needs to be offset by anyone who didn't renew Total probably not much different

bangkoksaint Posted 3 August, 2023 Share Posted 3 August, 2023 Smoke and mirrors by the club I think to try and make it look like we’re a really attractive proposition and to generate a bit of FOMO.

This is it. I went a lot on spec home and away during the League one and Championship years and it was superbly enjoyable, but never went once or had any interest in doing so during the recently-ended Premier League era. I can feel I am getting interested in going back to games again. I don't get a season as I live 4 hours away and have done for 17 years.

A bit fanciful that our football of the past 3/4 years will have attracted many PL "hangers on" who've dropped out because of relegation. Pay as you go is still cheaper if you factor in that it is almost impossible to attend all games through other commitments, illness etc that crop up inevitably during the course of a year. Anyway there are no decent tickets left for people who want to come back in or new starters.
rallyboy Posted 3 August, 2023 Share Posted 3 August, 2023 The fact that sales are up on a year ago and there's a significant increase in the Northam and among young fans can only be good. It tells you all you need to know about the entertainment offered over the last few seasons in the Premier League. Say it quietly, but off the pitch there appears to be a refreshing hint of positivity and optimism in the air.... Give it 36 hours.

It's not that Saints will have attracted premier league fans, it's that local fans of the top clubs and top 6 fanboys/football tourists/touts will have bought season tickets knowing they get to see their hero elite clubs. Whitey Grandad Posted 3 August, 2023 Share Posted 3 August, 2023 Our tickets arrived today. I don't know why they printed them upside down.
