Said it before, will say it again. Offside wasn't meant to me measured as precisely as that. Was just to stop goal hanging. How is a toenail ahead an advantage in that part of the field?

That was always my beef with VAR when we were in the PL. The technology simply isn't fit for purpose when it comes to marginal offsides.

VAR killing the romance of football. To the naked eye he looked onside. Yes it's the rules yadda yadda but still. If United win this Coventry will be gutted.

I don’t believe they can determine the exact fraction of a second that the ball is struck by a player with the level of accuracy required for such a small measurement of offside.

I hate all the bullshit about how United found a way to win in the end.

did they fuck they got lucky with the VAR decision being an inch offside then got lucky in the pens
