Stripey McStripe Shirt Posted 23 February, 2024 Posted 23 February, 2024 The atmosphere sounds electric at the game in ITV 1. 1

Thought he was quite impressive when they played us, but then again our performance that night probably isn’t a decent yardstick to use. It was in the prem but also in the summer. Like I said at the time, my brother in law is a spurs fan and said he was decent but some people on here knew better.

Turkish Posted 23 February, 2024 Posted 23 February, 2024 Leicester absolutely bossing this, should have another goal or two

Yeah well any one of their players looked decent that night for how shite we were! But thankfully even with our little drop in form recently, we look far from that performance again

Chez Posted 23 February, 2024 Posted 23 February, 2024 Very high pace game in the first half. Leicester look pretty damn solid at the back, scary up front. Leeds are very lucky to sill be in the game (it should be three or four) ...but they are.

Andy Hill Posted 23 February, 2024 Posted 23 February, 2024 Both of these teams have far more pace than our lot. Leeds will surely score at some point.
SNSUN Posted 23 February, 2024 Posted 23 February, 2024 I'm pretty sure this game will end up as a draw or a victory to one of the teams. Go sports. 1

Chez Posted 23 February, 2024 Posted 23 February, 2024 Pretty strong subs for Leeds bringing on Bamford and Dan James. Decent game. If we get points away at these two sides we will have played well. 1

We just have to have Downes fit. Defensively our midfield is the weakest of the teams at the top. I don't think Smallbone gets in any of these teams.

LGTL Posted 23 February, 2024 Posted 23 February, 2024 Some of the finishing in this game has been diabolical! 1
hypochondriac Posted 23 February, 2024 Posted 23 February, 2024 Leicester loads of strength and stature which is really the main difference between us and them. They got a few black lads continually winning the ball, holding off people and driving forward. It's undeniably impressive. 1

Turkish Posted 23 February, 2024 Posted 23 February, 2024 Remember when everyone groaned when we were linked with Harry Winks.

Yes, I meant someone like Winks (proven, experienced) playing regularly in cm would have been a better proposition than Smallbone, and Charles for that matter. Your point is well made, buying Charles (one for the future) has cost us as our midfield woes have mounted.

hypochondriac Posted 23 February, 2024 Posted 23 February, 2024 Smallbone is a fine squad player but the fact he plays almost every week highlights the fact that we are weak in the middle. The fact that Martin has to emphasise that he's popular with the other lads in interviews is quite telling too. 1
S-Clarke Posted 23 February, 2024 Posted 23 February, 2024 That was so inevitable, as soon as Leicester missed their chances you just knew they'd score and win it. Just need to keep it at 2-1 and not let the GD get out of hand here, it could do now. Leicester have gone.
