So have we since the end of last year.

Indeed. Both teams could well go unbeaten until the last game of the season. Either way it'll be very tight.

we mustn't forget Ipswich, they are decent as well. Those soft late goals that cost us points could well cost us

Leeds and Ipswich both have nice runs coming up now. There’s some utter shit in mid-table and lower half, so can’t see many shocks. We’re going to have to do it the hard way.

We lost to BC Leeds couldn't beat Rotherham, and so it is impossible to predict.

Didn't take Leeds long unfortunately.

My youngest son’s team would’ve scored that first goal given that amount of space and piss poor effort to stop the goal.

That was an absolute carbon copy of our win last night. They controlled the majority of that game, Plymouth had a little huff and puff spell but they simply had no where near enough quality to do anything of note.

Just like us at WBA, Leeds were just way too good for Plymouth and had the quality in the moments that mattered. I know people are shitting this going to the last day (myself included), but I don't see any other outcome to be honest.

Wouldn't expect much from Swansea tbf, they are horrific.

Agreed. An absolute shambles. They don't really have any form of footballing identity on the pitch anymore.

A good weekend for away teams in the championship so far.  As things stand, 9 away teams have won or are winning. The other 3 games are level.

As I type that, Norwich come back to take the lead at home.

Skates strolling to promotion, I swear every time I look at League 1 results all the other teams at the top fail to win

Would be enjoyable to have the Derby back, but I'd much prefer promotion, please!

I’m ok with letting them dwell on our last meeting for a few more years. I thought they might collapse after their awful run over Xmas but none of the other sides are putting enough points on the board

Assuming Leicester don’t come back into this, if we win our game in hand, Leeds beat Leicester, and we beat Leicester, all else being equal, that’s their lead down to 2 points.

It needs a lot to go our way, but that lead at the top isn’t quite as secure or insurmountable as it appears to be, especially if they’ve got a performance like today’s in them, struggling against Boro.

As you say, it's as much to do with the other contenders slipping up as it is Portsmouth Community FC winning.

We’d have to be almost perfect, no more performances like Tuesday

Kalvin Phillps sent off - had a total mare at West Ham (so far)

Assume he'll still be picked for England ahead of JWP (who has seemingly also gone off the boil to be fair)

Still worth keeping an eye on Leicester’s results then!

That’s the double for Boro over them too, wonder if they’ve been finding a particular weakness or just got them on a good day a couple of times.

Shame we couldn't have beaten Bristol. If we'd won that and our game in hand the gap would have been down to 5.

They look to have played them on the counter.

To be fair, they also had a fair chunk of luck with Leicester missing some sitters.

Well, we went 25 unbeaten before that, there are probably more ‘what ifs’ going for us than against this season.

Be honest, this is a fucking fun season. Four superb teams thrashing it out at the top, and we're one of them.

Sadly for the other three, we are a different level when we're on song - I can't see us finishing outside the top two, nae fucking chance.

Lump money on us to get automatic promotion. Just do it.

One of those days, just like some they won unconvincingly at the start of the season but had the quality to get a goal.
