Harry_SFC Posted 17 March, 2024 Posted 17 March, 2024 I feel like Poch should be going mad at Sterling. Why is he taking set pieces off Palmer?
The Cat Posted 17 March, 2024 Posted 17 March, 2024 Great goal. Especially funny that Chelsea fans were all booing the Mudryk sub and then Chukwuemeka scored the goal. I guess their fans aren't cleverer than their manager.
Saint Gifford Posted 17 March, 2024 Posted 17 March, 2024 As an England fan obviously, never got the Sterling thing for all these years. Guess he’s made his point.
Charlie Wayman Posted 17 March, 2024 Posted 17 March, 2024 (edited) One thing is evident from Leicester's performance today is that they are a much more accomplished and skilful side than Saints and will do well in the PL next season. Can't see us getting anything from our game against them and they could run us ragged. Edited 17 March, 2024 by Charlie Wayman

But playing against a poor Chelsea team that tbf are mid table Prem at the moment, and that’s a complement to them. Feel a bit for Potts, I bet he’s thinking what have I walked into. Can’t see him lasting much longer. Reaction to his subs said it all both the good one and and the bad one.

I do think we're pretty good but fall a little short of Leeds, Leicester and Ipswich and wouldn't be surprised if we got beaten in all three of those away games. Said for a while now the play off final will be the Old Farm game. Edited 17 March, 2024 by Winnersaint
obelisk Posted 17 March, 2024 Posted 17 March, 2024 Hopefully Leeds will have nothing to play for on the last day of the season. They'll likely already be champions.
Lee On Solent Saint Posted 17 March, 2024 Posted 17 March, 2024 I can't stand Leeds, but some of these challenges Millwall are putting in are pretty nasty. Pretty much the same gameplay they employed against us. 1

Holmes_and_Watson Posted 17 March, 2024 Posted 17 March, 2024 Fernandes gets the ball pinched from him, and concedes a goal. He goes on a hissy fit about it, according to the readio. Sounds familiar from somewhere...
CB Fry Posted 17 March, 2024 Posted 17 March, 2024 (edited) Come on then, which of you believed that absolute horseshit about Saints being his last ever job because he was planning to retire off to the mountains? Edited 17 March, 2024 by CB Fry 1
OnceaSaintalwaysaSaint Posted 17 March, 2024 Posted 17 March, 2024 The Millwall fans are doing that irritating noise thing they did at St Marys. I see the commentator has said they've a reduced allocation at Leeds because it's a 'high risk' fixture. Coming out and joining their knobs to the station a few weeks ago, perhaps we should do the same. Absolute neanderthals.

Lighthouse Posted 17 March, 2024 Posted 17 March, 2024 Thank f*ck! I don’t think I’ve ever celebrated an injury time Man Utd winner before but if that knocks the Klopp bukake down a notch or two then brilliant. 1

whelk Posted 17 March, 2024 Posted 17 March, 2024 Mental defending from Liverpool on their corner. Funny. Cracking game
Charlie Wayman Posted 17 March, 2024 Posted 17 March, 2024 Leeds turn to win today. The top three are relentless, we are falling further and further behind. It will be hard to drop any lower than 4th or to climb any higher. At least we should get our day out at Wembley probably against Leicester at this rate.

FarehamSaintJames Posted 17 March, 2024 Posted 17 March, 2024 When you think how far we were behind with everyone else and looking at the league table now is a real shame. You can talk about “win our games in hand” - does anyone realistically think we’ll beat Leicester? Or after as well as that Leeds and Ipswich? Those teams are relentless. Can’t say I’ll be looking forward to the play offs.

Can’t say I’ll be looking forward to the play offs. To be honest it doesn't make a lot of difference now. We can't control who will finish 5th and 6th and in all scenarios we will have home advantage for the second leg. If we finish fourth which we will do, it looks most likely to be WBA who we have at least beaten twice, so really nothing to worry about whatsoever.....
FarehamSaintJames Posted 17 March, 2024 Posted 17 March, 2024 Leeds were seventeen points behind Leicester on New Year’s Day I just read! Mad!
