Baird of the land Posted 20 August, 2023 Posted 20 August, 2023 Calvert Lewin seems to be made of glass. His wage per minute played over the last year must be massive.
beatlesaint Posted 20 August, 2023 Posted 20 August, 2023 Adams would be fkin crazy to go to Everton, they are woeful ! 1
RedWillie Posted 20 August, 2023 Posted 20 August, 2023 Everton doing a mighty fine job in persuading Che to stay at Saints. They are appalling.

saintant Posted 20 August, 2023 Posted 20 August, 2023 JWP starts for West Ham. Lavia not even on the bench for Chelsea.
aintforever Posted 20 August, 2023 Posted 20 August, 2023 I would be fucking depressed if I was an Everton fan, watching this shit then signing Che Adams as their saviour.

Saint Keef Posted 20 August, 2023 Posted 20 August, 2023 Calvert Lewin - gone off with a possible broken cheekbone. Iwobi is off - done a hamstring. Everton will be desperate now. For £40m they can have Che!!! In seriousness, career wise, would Che benefit from another season struggling against relegation with Everton, who look absolutely appalling, in a league where he has struggled to make his mark, or a season banging in goals in the Championship. If he is thinking about his Scotland career, then I think the latter is the better option. 1

I'm definitely hoping 'being sent down a year' is our lucky break. Maybe our season will go to bits yet but i don't envy Everton another year of circling the drain.
Saint Keef Posted 20 August, 2023 Posted 20 August, 2023 Maybe instead of Che, we can offer Mara to "The Desperate Dugouts" for £20m.
HKsaint Posted 20 August, 2023 Posted 20 August, 2023 Or tall Paul, Everton have been interested in him before. 1
Chris cooper Posted 20 August, 2023 Posted 20 August, 2023 Grand ol team is on suicide watch already 😆 ..and you love to read it! Pop over and have a read ..instant chuckles!😆

OttawaSaint Posted 20 August, 2023 Posted 20 August, 2023 JWP in a West Ham shirt taking a corner. I feel sick!

Baird of the land Posted 20 August, 2023 Posted 20 August, 2023 I did feel Moyes and a team with actual aerial threats could really get more out prowsey's set pieces than we did.
obelisk Posted 20 August, 2023 Posted 20 August, 2023 That's the best JWP corner for months. Or is that he has someone to aim at now?
HarvSFC Posted 20 August, 2023 Posted 20 August, 2023 Maybe it was just the likes of Salisu and Vestergaard who were shit at attacking corners.

stknowle Posted 20 August, 2023 Posted 20 August, 2023 JWP's first couple of corners for Wet Spam (Wet Spam lol) result in a chance and then a goal after literally years of corners that led to fuck all for us. Coincidence? I think not.

Lighthouse Posted 20 August, 2023 Posted 20 August, 2023 Adrian Mutu scored twice on his Chelsea debut, these things do happen.

saintant Posted 20 August, 2023 Posted 20 August, 2023 Looking at this West Ham play the long ball a lot so I doubt JWP will get many touches in midfield.

OttawaSaint Posted 20 August, 2023 Posted 20 August, 2023 Him and his new buddies with a weak ass attempt to stop Chelsea scoring there...

saintant Posted 20 August, 2023 Posted 20 August, 2023 It's clear that West Han without Rice are in for a struggle. Think they'll be fighting in the wrong half of the table unless they make some shrewd signings before the window closes.
saintant Posted 20 August, 2023 Posted 20 August, 2023 West Ham look as though they could do with Flynn Downes in midfield 🙂

saintant Posted 20 August, 2023 Posted 20 August, 2023 Ha ha, second assist from JWP. How are they winning this! 🙂
64saint Posted 20 August, 2023 Posted 20 August, 2023 (edited) 2 assists now for JWP . Hammers 2 Chelsea 1. Edited 20 August, 2023 by 64saint

whelk Posted 20 August, 2023 Posted 20 August, 2023 I thought relief when Martin Tyler retired but Drury more annoying.
Saint Gifford Posted 20 August, 2023 Posted 20 August, 2023 Fair play to JWP , seems to be enjoying his football with some decent players in and around him. West Ham were pretty crap in the prem last season, so for me just proves the point that we were absolute litter.
