Southner Posted 7 August, 2023 Posted 7 August, 2023 Genuine question... How was Tella not given the goal against Wednesday, but Trossard given the goal against Man City, even though it was initially off target, and took a huge deflection off of a City defender? 3

Well I guess all those who dislike this type of football must bow down to your so called superior intelligence and understanding. Well… yes. Over 80% possession, chances created, big away win. Loads of non-saints supporting mates of mine were all texting to say how good we looked. It literally doesn’t get much better than that for a new manager coming in to a mismanaged squad. 1

The Kraken Posted 7 August, 2023 Posted 7 August, 2023 Don’t think Armstrong took that particularly well….

derry Posted 8 August, 2023 Posted 8 August, 2023 (edited) It's a bloody travesty. If Armstrong had been a fraction slower the ball would have hit him harder and more than likely not gone in. It's a disgrace despite Tella's good grace that he thinks it's his goal. He was ducking out of the way. If he was a decent character he would insist he had no part in it and that it was Tella's goal. As far as I'm concerned he's just another example of what is wrong with football. He's been a failure since he arrived and Saturday wasn't much different. Irrespective of the award those that saw it know what he did and I for one won't give him any credit, just another game he didn't cut it in. Edited 8 August, 2023 by derry 3
CSA96 Posted 8 August, 2023 Posted 8 August, 2023 (edited) Wait... what? The whole thing is clearly a bit of fun from all involved, FFS. Edited 8 August, 2023 by CSA96 3

Not surprised, he hasn't had much to celebrate since being with us and was probably looking forward to a fresh start. And, as others have said, the interviewer was a knob about it.

Which he did. Exactly - which was my point. He clearly did exactly as he was told to do and it was effective.
