lordswoodsaints Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 heard a nice little rumour tonight that fulthorpe is trying to team up with crouch? this is only a 'pub rumour' :-) so its probably not to be believed but it would be an interesting proposition if true and something that i havnt heard before. could it work? could it be enough to get rid of lowe and wilde? would it be enough to save us?

Hasnt that what was meant to be happening all along? Or did I mis-understand all the hype about fulthorpe?
Gemmel Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 The only person Fulthorpe should be teaming up with is Walter Mitty
Mole Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Takeover threads seem to go down like a lead balloon nowadays, i can't understand why.:smt102

Weston Super Saint Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Lest we forget... I Lol'd. Then had to explain to Mrs WSS why, and who Barry was

I would have thought it is the only way forward. Lets face it a rich overseas sugar daddy looks as likley as a bank making a profit this year. To get rid of Lowe and Wilde, someone needs to buy a significant amount of shares or atleast have them proxied to them. In terms of saving us - football results wise we are not down yet and a few good players & wins will change everything. But it maybe that they are starting to plan for next season.

The only way we are going to get rid of Lowe is if someone buys his shares. He wont sell his shares unless everyones shares are going to get sold. He wont move out and leave Wilde or Crouch behind so its yet another pointless excersise if its even happening.
saintjay77 Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Is that Scooby? I was thinking its one of 2 posters and both begin with S and the other has 7 letters.
Channon's Sideburns Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Weird Al Yankovic??? I bet he could write a good song about Lowe and Wilde...

It would start to shake things up if either LC and F started buy a few shares on the stock exchange.
Weston Super Saint Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 I was thinking its one of 2 posters and both begin with S and the other has 7 letters. You're either referring to Saintja[y] or St.David.....
saintjay77 Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 You're either referring to Saintja[y] or St.David..... Oi I dont bloody look like that!!!!! lol and it wasnt st david either, I was thinking of the other end of the spectrum to Scooby in Stanley lol
TopGun Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 The only person Fulthorpe should be teaming up with is Walter Mitty Spot on.

Weston Saint Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 I could write pages and pages on here about Fulthorpe/Cousins, about their plans, the money route, the investment area, the promises, but it would end with....fantasists and dreamers so I won't waste your time.
Thedelldays Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 weston...would it be a lot of money...ie to get us up...or really gt us up...to just keep us afloat... ?
Weston Saint Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 weston...would it be a lot of money...ie to get us up...or really gt us up...to just keep us afloat... ?There is no money....that is my point!

JustMike Posted 27 January, 2009 Posted 27 January, 2009 fulthorpe is the biggest tyre kicker yet.. how long has his supposed "takeover" been around for? But if this was true, i would be happy if it meant getting shot of RL and MW for good

Charlie Wayman Posted 27 January, 2009 Posted 27 January, 2009 Leon is too naive and it came across in spades in his interview. Short-term fixes will no more solve Saints problems than the national economy.
benjii Posted 27 January, 2009 Posted 27 January, 2009 weston...would it be a lot of money...ie to get us up...or really gt us up...to just keep us afloat... ? Not billions but several 10s of millions.
Amesbury Saint Posted 27 January, 2009 Posted 27 January, 2009 Leon is too naive and it came across in spades in his interview. Short-term fixes will no more solve Saints problems than the national economy. so what do you suggest .... more of the same (management)?
Gordon Mockles Posted 27 January, 2009 Posted 27 January, 2009 Not billions but several 10s of millions. Well, you won't get a cent from that c**t Lowe or Wilde...In fact, I think they're waiting for something... I know Lowe went skiing but I didn't realise Mike went too!
INFLUENCED.COM Posted 27 January, 2009 Posted 27 January, 2009 I too hope Crouch does not let these chancers capitalise, they will probably see the alledged 6mil, reported to be enough to takeover at SMS, as their route in, fu(k em, I say, they put themselves up as white knights and failed to come good, they should not be allowed to sneak in for a very small percentage of what is alledged they/their consortium were about to invest. Has Merrington who was part of the consortium and championing these guys ever cum his guts about their current position ? (that said, if we are going into admin and these sh1t(unts can keep us out of it then let them do so, shallow I know but hey ho)
Gordon Mockles Posted 27 January, 2009 Posted 27 January, 2009 Regardless of any past rants, any conjecture by myself and supposition - I will be VERY interested to see how Lowe and Wilde (and Lowe's poxy proxy) do act if the worst does happen (which looks more than likely) and we're relegated AND go into admin. I would be very, VERY interested as I do truly believe, always have done, that they joined forces for more than just to protect their shares. Only time will tell...maybe. I do hope I never have to read back to this post and to find it right. Sorry for the conspiracy cr*p. I just trust my instincts.
hypochondriac Posted 28 January, 2009 Posted 28 January, 2009 Well Fulthorpe hasn't come on here or in the press spouting off so I don't care. He can do what he likes.

Well, I've always thought that Lowe and Wilde had the money there....after Administration. Lowe will have investment lined up behind him and Wilde...Tom Scott? They won't put any money in now, because they know, that it is wasted money if they can choose to do nothing now and pick it up on the cheap, sans debts. Then, their 5 year plan takes over - make a mint out of Jackson's Farm in a couple of years time when the financial side has improved...which in turn will reignite the housing market and the Government's need for Green Field sites to be developed. We said it at the time, the 5 year plan is nothing to do with Football. It is merely the inroad to greater riches for them personally.. Conspiracy Theory?? Yes. Realistic? You bet your life.

I've been saying this for about a year now. Those two clowns and their proxies have some sort of backer lined up. No proof, just a gut feeling.

I shall undertake part of the task for you then. L Crouch has offered 2 million pounds, if he teamed up with J Fulthorpe we would probably be looking at a slightly higher figure, let's say £2000034.15
