Holmes_and_Watson Posted 28 May, 2023 Posted 28 May, 2023 More attacking teams like Liverpool, (who also bring with a number of personnel who can give the odd error), play into the central, quick running of SellesBall. It's him not having a tactic that works against all the other types of tactics in the league, that has resulted in him departing after the final whistle. 1

Holmes_and_Watson Posted 28 May, 2023 Posted 28 May, 2023 good to see JWP linking up with Alcaraz again there.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 28 May, 2023 Posted 28 May, 2023 Ely trying to bend a shot - yeah it missed by three yards. 1
Holmes_and_Watson Posted 28 May, 2023 Posted 28 May, 2023 Again, that central counter. Mo's shot a little too far out to curl it there. Selles' consistency pays off! (shame it lost so many of the other games, waiting for days like this one - and there's a lot to go here.)
Holmes_and_Watson Posted 28 May, 2023 Posted 28 May, 2023 Hospital pass to Lavia, and then Lyanco rightly has a go at diver Jota. 1
Osvaldorama Posted 28 May, 2023 Posted 28 May, 2023 Not watching saints but fuck me I would love it if Everton go down 3
Saint Fan CaM Posted 28 May, 2023 Posted 28 May, 2023 Liverpool resorting to a bit of shithousery already - gotta be a good sign.
Holmes_and_Watson Posted 28 May, 2023 Posted 28 May, 2023 "a rare bit of miscontrol from TAA" as he makes a ricket of getting out of defence. 🙂

Holmes_and_Watson Posted 28 May, 2023 Posted 28 May, 2023 Nearly there... and from a corner. We are getting better at those. JWP should stay just so we can see more of those next season.

Holmes_and_Watson Posted 28 May, 2023 Posted 28 May, 2023 Looking forward to an inspiring Selles teamtalk. It's the last half they will have as a group. And those departing and those staying can use this second half as a sign of things to come for all their careers.

gammon cheeks Posted 28 May, 2023 Posted 28 May, 2023 Be so funny if Everton go down! Ever since Highbury 1984 ive had a rather abnormal dislike of them . 4

That's his strength. We just need to cover his weaknesses if that is going to work next season. 1

The Cat Posted 28 May, 2023 Posted 28 May, 2023 Entertaining first half. Quite often get a fun last game of the season match when neither team has anything to play for. Pretty good atmosphere in the ground too. Surprisingly didn't see any Liverpool fans near us celebrate their goals considering how many people lobbed tickets on the exchange.

Really conflicted by this. Three clubs I easily dislike in Everton, Leicester and Leeds. Looks like it will be Leeds as one, but finding it very hard to pick between Everton and Leicester.

The Cat Posted 28 May, 2023 Posted 28 May, 2023 Some chap, maybe 60, turned up absolutely hammered on his own after 10 minutes. Couldn't find his seat so showed his ticket which was an U18 ticket to a guy near me to try and work out where to sit. Pissed bloke then sat down and promptly fell asleep. He's gone down at half time, hopefully for more beer. 2
