Russel Martin’s inflexible philosophy of continuing with the same plan (play out from the back) week in week out without any consistent goal scorers to hit more than you’ll inevitably concede is utterly farcical. 
 

I thought he should have been replaced when we won the Playoffs… but we didn’t. He’s the main problem now. And going down and trying again with him is not an option for the team.

Last season they sacked their manager on December 5th 2023.

As anyone with an advent calendar will know, December 5th is tomorrow.

Looking at the other shite down at the bottom, I don't think we were nailed on to go down from the outset - certainly odds against at the bookies.

It's become a certainty because of him. He talks about bravery, and the brave thing to have done would have been to thank him for his efforts and part company after the Leeds game. What's happening now has gone from being infuriating, to laughable, to just bizarre.

Individual errors born out of playing in a way these guys shouldn't be playing. It's not just the goals, look at the shots we gift up as well.

It's how they're being told to play. They're not good enough to do it and we provide the ultimate trigger press for opposition teams. We are a coaches dream to set up against.
