Mboto Gorge Posted Sunday at 17:20 Share Posted Sunday at 17:20 (edited) Nearly every other premier league side beats Liverpool today. Only saints are capable of handing 3 goals on a plate. This squad of players is so horrendously managed, it’s untrue. Yet we also have a similarly clueless bunch of twats running this club who’d rather sit on their hands and watch a complete shit show unfold than actually admit their mistakes. The key for me is, that certain people at the club are putting their ego above the well-being of the football club, and that’s totally unacceptable. Other clubs would be giving their owners some serious serious heat right now on match days. They’re lucky we are so passive as a fan base Edited Sunday at 17:21 by Mboto Gorge

Need far more of that. But don’t let up when Rasmus finally calls his vape buddy on Teams. Keep on SR’s case until they get the club back to the established PL outfit they inherited and were supposed to improve.
Mboto Gorge Posted Sunday at 17:26 Share Posted Sunday at 17:26 From the BBC: Southampton have lost 10 of their 12 Premier League games this season (W1 D1), the earliest into a league season the Saints have ever hit double figures for defeats. Indeed, the Saints are just the eighth side ever to lose 10+ of their opening 12 matches of an English top-flight campaign. So we are the 8th team since English football began to lose 10 of our first 12 games, just let that sink in. In 140 years of English top flight football , only 7 other teams have had a worse start than us. So how on this fucking earth is our manager still in a fucking job. Unfortunately this absurd passing the ball around at the back will ensure we will be well short. Can Russell Martin not see that! I am an idiot and I can see it. If we passed it forward and used the height of Tall Paul, the speed of Archer and the creativity of Lallana and Dibling then we would score goals. Defensively I think we are better than last season but create our own issues by passing around at the back. I believe we are a good team if we did things right. I am not a fan of Cooper I thought last season Leicester were fantastic when they thumped us home and away (helped of course by Martin's refusal to change his tactics) but under Cooper were poor when we played them. Factually there were some cheers, but it wasn’t all 30,000 was it. Way to insult a bunch of people for doing nothing. I assume he didn’t at the same time criticize his captain for wasting the entire final minute with his idiotic challenge and spat with Salah? Thought not. Pick on the fans as a soft touch no matter how unreasonable. Secondly, if we can’t gain a ball back after 6 minutes maybe something is wrong with packing the team full of backwards passers rather than anyone who can press or tackle? Not that it was 6 minutes obviously. Thirdly, assuming he’s talking about Suguwara’s punt up the touchline when he was surrounded by 4 Liverpool shirts (you could see him having a tantrum at him on the touchline) it was the right f*cking decision anyway. He could have pulled off the hugely risky pass and got us up to the dizzy heights of the halfway line I guess but it was 90% odds we lost the ball in a dangerous position and conceded another good chance. There are times to risk it, but even in the last 10 minutes there are times you clear your lines. Maybe that is a bizarre British mentality. Or maybe the vast majority of us have watched enough football to have a vague idea of what is likely to be successful and know this isn’t it. And maybe it’s my British mentality that can see through the utter drivel he talks, time and again. I didn’t cheer the clearance, BTW. When the ref went over to book one of his coaching staff (don’t think it was RM but might have been) I noticed RM continued the argument with the 4th official to the point he wasn’t looking at the game when it restarted. Sums him up - completely futile, unproductive, childish, ineffective behaviour to make himself feel better, while ignoring his bl00dy job. His behaviour, is egotistical and unproductive His football is egotistical and unproductive As a football manager he is egotistical and unproductive.
