Expand Apart from the fact that Martin was heavily a Wilcox choice you’d be spot on Most footballing organisations, atleast those that tend to be successful, will have an agreed philosophy and then targets will be given based on analytics there or there abouts, obviously other judgements have to be made. It really isn’t a case that they sit around a table and pick out names until one sticks… of course if that really is your interpretation, or other’s interpretations, then it explains a lot of the posts/opinions on here…. 1

Positively, it looks like a lot of/all but one of Martin's coaches at Swansea also worked with him at MK Dons. So, if we're to bring the team over, which we need to do rather than the half hearted attempts of revitalising the coaching team that we've attempted over the years, then he has a longstanding relationship with these coaches: https://www.swanseacity.com/first-team-staff-0 It's almost as if every other club allows a manager to pick their coaches, rather than forcing Craig Fleming, Kelvin Davis, Carl Martin, etc.... upon them. And he even says in this vid it's not something he needs to rely on but just something that benefits him when he is able to incorporate practices into his life. Buddhist practices are really just getting in tune with yourself and finding clarity in your own mind so you can live your best life, and there's no threat of eternal damnation in the fires of hell if you don't do them like there is with Christianity. 3
