He's not just garbage:  to add insult to injury he's expensive garbage, costing £80,000 per week. Will we ever get rid of him? I dread seeing him appearing in goal for us again next season.

There will be a spreadsheet for new wage bill for new/ reduced terms in Championship, and selling on to Premier Legue clubs from that level, to maximise that profit.
Just a bit ruined by us getting taken over as a Premier League club and losing all that broadcasting/ commercial revenue.

Hard not to be to be honest, they've driven me to despair for over 18 months now!! Never been so despondent over a bunch of players before, I really can't stand them.

I just want to get behind a team again and feel connected with it, I've never felt as disconnected with this club as I do at the moment.

Fuck this, I’m off for a walk around the common rather than wasting any more time watching this shit. Fully expecting to come back to a 5-0 final result. 
 

Hoping that Leeds pull off a result to give Everton the best chance of joining us next season

So Selles could have started the game with Toni at RB but decided to start Bree. Put in KWP - a player clearly not invested - and left Perraud a natural LB, out. He could have at least tried to score a goal, but no he plays the useless Ely-fucking-no-usey and the blunt instrument called Aribo.

Selles goes down (sic) as my worst Saints manager - ever.  I literally hate the football, the team selections and his excuses with a passion.

If the rumours are to believed, he will be. Martin expected to be announced in the next 24 hrs, so yeah - we all know he's toast.

Not that I totally blame Selles, there comes a point where you have to look beyond the managers and focus on the utter idiots we have going out on the field every week.

Can someone please explain to me how Selles can legitimately still expect to be able to say that he would only stay at Southampton if he was given the managers position next season?......I'd seriously be concerned about him having responsibility for running one of the food kiosks.

I’d have sacked him before the start given that team selection and at the latest half time. Absolute joke of a manager…..in fact Selles and manager shouldn’t be used in the same sentence.

Just damage control from him. He's saying to other prospective clubs that he not really wanting toback to being a coach, having now had managerial experience at one of the world's top leagues under his belt. It's also why his tactics are identikit, and why his press conferences are interchangeable. Consistent, doesn't shop and change tactics or panic, and can show new clubs the spreadsheets on why this is really successful, and it's our recruitment that was the problem/ he had little time to reshape the squad to his liking.

My wife just asked if we’re playing. I replied that we’re on the pitch but that’s about as much as you can say. Imagine getting paid this much money to be so bad at your job.
