Not really sure what you’re watching tbh

The bloke can’t run… but he isn’t actually moving into any positions to take the ball, in fact he is far too often trying to run in behind when we’re in possession so we can’t oass it to him

In fact, the few times its got to him, he’s miscontrolled it, mis placed a pass and tried to turn two players…. He is also terrible at pressing

He looks terrible

The bloke's a goal hanger and scorer FFS! If Saints aren't attacking then he's bound to look shit.

I’m sure Rishi could come up with an argument, he’s used to sugar coating turds.

Something like we may not have won many games but we've mostly only lost by one goal so it shows just how good our defence truly is 😂

Yeah ok… obviously the striker isn’t integral to build up play in a lone striker formation but what would I know

Well, at least the pitch is looking better now. That's something I suppose

Not surprising. It’s had a pile of manure on it for most of the season.

The old ones are the old ones….

God this game is soooo dull we get into good positions then play either the wrong ball or tamely straight at the keeper

It's been obvious that he's not the bloke you wish he was. If you want a team to fanny around with the ball, passing it backwards and sideways then Tall Paul isn't the player to go and and spend £millions on.

Even goal hangers should be able to contribute to some build up play.

He can't and is a terrible player. On loan in the summer, and will depart like Carillo...

He may be many things, but Belgian isn't one of them 😉

Isn't he Nigerian but played in the Belgium league? The carthorse bit is true though

We did spend millons on him, and we are a team that fannies around with the ball

Haaland would look like a donkey surrounded by this lot.

I think haaland would just get the ball and push 19 players out of the way and score, given the deckchair pace of this game.

Remember our previous relegations, the fight from not just the players but the fans right to the end? We've all just given up.

Nothing left to fight for except professional pride. The players have none of that.

Well that was a pathetic first half. Fulham haven’t got out of second gear, I’m not sure we’re able to.

Pretty abject from our whole first eleven, but I’m not sure if Onuachu being there is doing us any favours. Maybe if he had someone to work off him and do his running for him, but we don’t play like that. Plus he looks constantly knackered. Not much other option but to get Mara on there, but that won’t change much, the whole team needs to get a grip.

Just how bad does AMN have to play before he gets dropped?

Paradoxically, AMN would only need to see his name on the scoresheet to be dropped.

In all seriousness, surely there is a case for withholding the players wages given they are clearly not doing what they are paid to do? Genuine question for any employment lawyers out there.

Lyanco at least seems to have prevented a goal which is almost equivalent to scoring one. Of the rest not a plus point anywhere. Going down with less than a whimper. I'll be controversial and suggest that Jones would have had more points than this.

Pathetic half of football.

Insipid, no pla or shape, no energy or effort.

Can we just forfeit the rest of the season? I want the rebuild to start so I can feel some level of optimism.

Can't blame them.

That was utterly horrendous, and somehow probably wouldn't even land in our top 5 worst performances this season.

It wasn't a complaint, I don't blame anyone at all. Just interesting the difference between 2005 and now.

Would did our scouts see?

He was obviously scouted by Rasmus with his data and Xg crap.

AZ Alkmaar’s trainer Pascal Jansen said in a recent interview: Data shouldn’t main reason for player scouting etc. Data should be assisting and nothing more (couldn’t think of a better way to translate that).

If you had the choice between Nathan Jones and all the scientists, data and Xg available or someone like Howe/Ten Hag/Tuchel etc without data and just pure their own football knowledge. Who would you chose?

Just how absolutely slow and ponderous we are in possession you could make a parody out of it ..  we have absolutely no idea how to get the ball moving up the pitch swiftly .. it’s been a problem for a long time slow sideways passing opposition only has to sit back and we can’t do anything
