"Head coach Mark Wotte's plea for the club to unite as one" Sounds like begging to me. Except of course Wotte is just a front for this begging and in reality it is the board who really want to unite the fanbase. I doubt the manager of any club is too bothered about a fans protest outside the club, especially as no players are being targeted.

YOU'RE SUPPOSEDLY THE FOOKIN' HEAD COACH!! Did that slip through the filter while Rupe's is away...again?! However, my favourite line is "We are going to play every game to get the maximum result but I will not announce my team until just before the match, because I want the other teams to think about the way we play" GROUND BREAKING!! For me, Wotte is saying all the right things and acting as if he means business so let's see what the team makes of it all tomorrow.

We'd escaped relegation, had a manager that most of us were content to see forge ahead in the coming season (maybe even a little confidence?) but Rupert knew what was best for the club (and us). My, haven't we come a long way! I had infinitely more confidence in us last season than I do now. And that bliddy well hurts.

The only thing that matters is results on the pitch and so far we have been found very wanting, despite being told we have been playing fantastic football. I have no confidence in those running the Club at the moment and seeing as they have selected Wotte, and also because he is deeply implicated with the poor season so far, then I am afraid to say I'm remain very sceptical that he can pull this off. I hope I'm wrong, but with Poortvliet, hope was not enough.

The comments may well be what he thinks, but that doesn't explain him airing those comments. Football managers don't get involved in politics on the record. That is why i find his political opinionating highy suspicious.

Of course this could turn out to be a Dodd & Gorman appointment but I've a feeling we're in for a pleasant surprise. We're certainly overdue a change in fortune.
