JohnnyFartPants Posted 27 January, 2009 Author Posted 27 January, 2009 You think Lowe is great and that he got us to a Cup final ? , He didn't , Strachan did. We lost that one by the way, But the one we won in 1976 Lowe prefers to eradicate that memory and replace it with a Train picture......... yeh Lowe is fantastic ambassador for SFC,......I Dont Think so!! Exactly, Lowe didn't get us to Wembley, Strachan did. Lowe didn't even appoint him or anything, did he? Listen, I am not saying Lowe is great but what I am after is some balance. If you want to say Lowe never got us to Wembley, then equally he never relegated us. You can't have different ways of measuring good and bad.
hypochondriac Posted 27 January, 2009 Posted 27 January, 2009 He chose Wotte as manager so he should be there to explain his decision. If he is interfering in team selection or selecting players to buy then that's a different situation entirely.

JohnnyFartPants Posted 27 January, 2009 Author Posted 27 January, 2009 I feel sorry for you that you cannot see that the role of plc chairman represents a middle ground somewhere between the two......... Please don't feel sorry for me. That would be like receiving dietary advice from an obese lump of sh1te.
JohnnyFartPants Posted 27 January, 2009 Author Posted 27 January, 2009 To be fair, no-one got us to Wembley that year - the Cup Final was in Cardiff. There's some balance for you. That is a very good point. It still doesn't alter the substance though.
Mole Posted 27 January, 2009 Posted 27 January, 2009 Please don't feel sorry for me. That would be like receiving dietary advice from an obese lump of sh1te. Yet more juvenile drivel. Not that we would expect any different from you.
hughieslastminutegoal Posted 27 January, 2009 Posted 27 January, 2009 It seems the same people are having a go at Lowe for sticking his nose in team affairs all the time yet now wish to have a pop at him for not being around when the team are playing badly, due to a holiday. Perhaps they should draw a line in the sand and stay one side or the other. Surely the point is that it was pretty obvious Donny was going to be a real crunch game which could easily lead to the manager resigning and/or a major bit of crisis management was likely to be called for, so it wasn't a good time for him to be away. I think you are being a bit disingenous to say that anyone wanted him here to deal with playing matters.
JohnnyFartPants Posted 27 January, 2009 Author Posted 27 January, 2009 Yet more juvenile drivel. Not that we would expect any different from you. Your problem is you think it is okay to insult others when you deem it neccesary yet then feel it is beyond forum rules when it is done to you. Makes you come across as slightly "spasticated", to use your not so grown up juvenile drivel of yesterday.
St. Jason Posted 27 January, 2009 Posted 27 January, 2009 St Jason, Jan is a mere blot of a minor error from the plan's of one of the greatest football minds the sport has ever been blessed with. It's in the past now and we need to move on to the next ingenius stage of this visonary messiahs plan. Your joking yea???
