It's not as if Bournemouth have really had to break a sweat. Just workmanlike does the job at St Mary's. Yet another defeat by one goal. All too easy for opponents at that crap stadium.

Its not even worth getting angry any more.  The whole season is just laughable.

Selles has cost us this game - what a barking mad idea it was to change to 5 at the back at HT.  WTF?

Saints do not deserve anything and we are deservedly relegated.  Question is, how the hell do we bounce back from this shambles next season.

Certainly without Selles and half the squad.

Answer:  We won't!

A game after a decent result against one of the top sides? Nailed on lacklustre performance and defeat.

"Happy to be proven wrong..."

Unhappy it is then....

Selles and half this squad need to be moved on as soon as this shitshow of a season is over. Ditch the possession based football philosophy, get in a manager that knows how to get a team scoring goals and winning games.

Who the hell is going to want any of our lot?  Get real ffs.

Why did we only have a go once we were behind. A game we needed to win and we should have played all game like we did in the last 10.

Why did the idiot set up completely negative. Why did he exacerbate that with his HT change.

Infuriates me that we just ignored Bournemouth's weaknesses.

In a season full of mediocrity, that was near the top of the pile. Illogical decision making from the "manager" and a complete shambles from the players.

Goodbye Premier League.

The most embarrassing, cringe 90 minutes of the club’s history.

- losing to Bournemouth at home when fighting for survival.

- Walcott’s note.

- zero fight.

- starting Adam Armstrong.

Thanks SR, you’ve just lost a generation of Southampton fans and the club’s top tier status for years to come.

You can hate on him all you want but Chris Sutton was spot on with everything he said tonight. He is no fool.

Bournemouth are just so much better than us - it literally showed in the first 2 minutes they moved the ball with one touch, we have to take 5 touches and then just go backwards

I can’t remember a single notable moment from us in that game bar the inevitably offside goal. Just a haze of mediocre nothingness. Zero personality. That’s worse than a mid season 9-0

Crap stadium. Crap strip. Crap players. Crap managers. Crap everything.

This is all true.

Everything needs a total reset.

When you think you've seen the worst of these tossers, they produce that. Honestly, worst performance of my lifetime that one. Just because of what was 'potentially' on it (although unlikely, we needed to make an effort of it).

But it was gutless, wimpy and just same old. I don't know what we are, what we're trying to do, or what goes through those players minds.

This has the feeling of a really, really, really catastrophic relegation that we may never recover from.

Bournemouth and Brighton will both be in a higher division than us next season, whilst our South Coast derby will be against Plymouth. Let that sink in for a second.

Sack the lot of them.

If the club have identified their next manager then just get on with it now and sack Selles first thing in the morning.

Every single one of those clowns tonight deserve to be fined a weeks wage for impersonating premier league footballers. Can’t wait till they all (hopefully) fuck off out of this club.

That was a very tough and embarrassing watch. We are so weak, feeble and poor all over the pitch and completely out of our depth. Thank feck we're going down because I couldn't stand another season like this one. At least we'll get a few more wins in the Championship although I don't think we'll be anywhere near promotion. Selles must go because again he picked the wrong players tonight and left it too long to change things. A rebuild is needed but keep Ankersen well away from it.

Useless, gutless frightened rabbit c€£s. I will not even bother to watch a dodgy stream until we start with a forward and not a false 9.

The last 2 home games have been nothing short of pathetic. Selles is better than Jones, but only in the same way that I am a better footballer than Douglas Badder.

Clear the lot out and sign some old pros to develop Doyle, Payne and Ballard.

Must win game and we hardly laid a glove on them .

Selles stubbornly stuck to his plan through all his games in charge. Stubbornly selected Moi game after game after game. Well now he has found out where his stubbornness led. Firing is too good for him. Needs to be shot from a fucking cannon the useless prick.
