John Sainty RIP

Ex Academy manager John Sainty has passed away aged 77.

He was given credit for bringing Adam Lallana to the club among others.

I remember his name from playing at Bournemouth , around the time of MacDougall and Boyer. Think they were still the unpretentious Bournemouth & Boscombe Athletic in those days.

I  wasn't aware of his Saints connection (name aside) and scouting for us though.
