This is the stupidest tactic of the entire season.

A yet so typically Saints. To try and hang on to a one goal lead for 45-50mins

Whilst the choice of player is obviously causing confusion and bewilderment, the actual tactical idea is ridiculous 🙄

For once, our press was working and it was only are constant threat through Alcarez finding space that allowed us to not cede possession and territory to Arsenal.

We've just handed complete control of the game over.

Beggars belief

Gonna be kind to Selles and say that we needed to change, KWP and a Perraud we’re getting absolutely ripped and both booked. As many others have said though, why give up Alcaraz? Armstrong was the logical choice to go, at least with 3 in the central midfield we can keep a bit of a higher line.

Please for the love of God - take off Armstrong and Elyounnousi and put on Sully and Tall Paul.

Even if we hold on, which we clearly won’t, he has to go. Fucking brain dead.

It’s just basically invited them onto us Armstrong and Elyanoussi doing nothing no one can keep the ball it just keeps coming back. He’s a joke

I’m at a complete loss as to what we are doing in this second half. Just sat here waiting for Arsenal to equalise, it’s like we’ve just accepted it. Fucking bizarre.

Good job I'm not in charge I would have sacked him during this game for taking off our biggest goal threat and aiming to play defensively for practically 45 mins

We needed to change, correct, but taking off our best player bringing on fucking Lyanco, keeping AA and Moi on is ludicrous.

0 attacking outlet, it’s attack bs defence and we won’t withstand 45 minutes. his changes have killed us.

Essentially playing 5-2-0 at the moment. Walcott is anonymous in this role also.

Shit fucking Joaquin Phoenix in Gladiator cunt. Can’t stand him.

I don't understand how Moi plays because he seemingly closes players down well and yet gives the ball away with anything remotely near a shoulder to shoulder 50:50. Utterly useless!

We could have easily reverted to a 451 and doubled up on the wingers. Keeping Alcaraz on to break the lines to give us something going forwardZ
