Genuinely, I don’t see us getting another point. Maybe against Fulham if mitro isn’t back.

Stop it! It's over so accept it. Forget the maths.

Has it though?

With the utter lack of commitment and intensity throughout the squad, and a total inability of our forward players to do what they are paid to do, how would it have been saveable with this squad?

The only thing I think that could have been done to make any difference would be to bring Macca back in place of the hopeless Bazunu which would gave given us a slum chance of turning a few of those 1-0 defeats into 0-0 draws, but that still wouldn't have been enough come the end of the season.

Can somebody quickly re-do one of those match predictors again, this time assuming we are going to win four of our final eight games and all the other clubs conveniently lose all theirs?

Cheers

As I'm switching off last thing I see is Bednarek all smiles as he shakes hands.

In what world is a clown like that able to walk back into an EPL team after the Poland debacle, the comments he made and then benchwarming at Villa?

First half we played well and it felt like we’d get something out of the game, then we concede a scrappy goal almost out of nowhere and completely fall apart.

At least it's nice for selles, he doesn't look at the table so in his world we are still not shit.

Couldn't score in a brothel, fall into a bucketful of tits we'd come out sucking our thumb etc etc.

Jesus we just can't fucking score a goal, and defend like a Frenchman whose moved into a nunnery.

We are fucking shit.

Truly awful from in particular the manager.

Palace were completely there for the taking in the 1st half, but Saints set up completely negatively.

2nd half one team came out with a flea in ther ear and it wasn't saints. Prdictable goal conceded. If Bazanu is going to do that on the first goal he might as well let the ball go. It likely would have gone out the other side of the box.

Hey that thing called tempo, SaInts players clearly don't know the word. Let's pass the ball along the backline whilst losing. Let's not bother to cross the ball to the striker.

Our unstoppable run to safety must start next week. Wolves are shitting it

Wonder if they’ll do a ‘lap of honour’ after the last home game?

On the plus side I’m saving probably £150 a game by not going to games. Hats off to those utterly wasting their hard earned on this lot.

Woy schooled us. It was a carbon copy of their game at Leeds last weekend except this time every shot they hit didn't go in. Very predictable that we'd have a decent first half then they'd turn on the after burners and cleanup in the second half.

Incredible isn't it that we put our EPL life on the line with Bazunu.

Literally the first thing a keeper is taught is not to palm it straight out in front.

Yet here we are.

Just to borrow Trouser’s log in for a moment. Is it possible Selles was told he could have the job if we are in the Championship next season?

Expand

I doubt it. If anything, he was likely told the job is his if he keeps us up.

but he is not up for it, and neither are the players.

Utterly utterly pathetic. Palace didn’t even get out of 2nd gear. Zero urgency, total bottlejobs. Vile club.

Obviously we’re not relegated yet and not relegated alone on that result, more a combination of things but I’m starting to wonder when we  will hit the nadir? This surely has to be it.

”We’ve got Selles…”

The more I think about it, the more fucking ridiculous it is that we go into a must win game without a striker on the pitch.

Had jones picked sides like this, he’d have songs sung about him.

Selles has nice hair though.

So Mara scores a goal and doesn't even get a minute on the pitch. That teach him. Should have missed last week and he probably would have started.

And even today Alcaraz smacks one against the post and gets in a dangerous position and blazes over, then he taken off. Completely baffling

Paul is on for 30 minutes and had 1 ball delivered to him in the box, and he gets a header on target, any danger of putting more balls in the box?

Next week versus Arsenal, forget about what's happening on the pitch. The real battle will be Selles against Arteta. Two immaculately groomed barnets going toe to toe on the big stage.

I'm getting excited just thinking about it...

They'll try but as soon as they get near the box they'll run into each other and fall down.

Cmon they need to pass the ball endlessly along the backline to get their possession stats up. That's what counts.

Nothing at all surprising today. Shit in all departments. Still passing sideways and backwards as if time is of no importance. Holding the ball too long waiting to be approached. Too many touches controlling and deciding what to do with it.

they truly are a shit team and we will get the normal Selles shyte on how we had a lot of possession etc. silence from the board so clearly happy clappy shyte from the,

future looks rosy…I wonder how long it will take us to recover from this season / seasons

It's the hope that hurts.

And the lack of organisation. That hurts too.

And the absence of goals. That's pretty painful.

And the lack of effort. That's painful too.

And being completely shit from top to bottom. That smarts somewhat, if I'm being completely honest.

It's become a club without direction or belief staffed by players that don't care. Look at Bolton and Sunderland for what comes next.

For Selles there were two major cockups today. He picked a team that didn't gel then made it into a shapeless mess with substitutes, No real blend or balance to start with then throws on Onuachu and Djenepo to try and save the game. Plays a right back at left back along with Aribo and Walcott hoping for goals. We were awful. As for passing it around at the back, Palace didn't and looked much more dangerous, we did and wonder why we are outnumbered up front. Get rid of Selles now and never again employ a coach as a manager. Very few coaches ever make good managers. Now bring in a manager that understands what makes a team work much like Kompany has done at Burnley.

Here ive saved everyone the bother:

About 10 minutes to wait to see a teamsheet of Moi and Co. Feel angry, defeated

Start ok, nothing special

Trying desperately not to lose,  barely attack

Concede

Get overrun for a while

Look slightly better for 2 minutes

Concede a second

Subs

Have a 5 minute "purple patch"

Concede again

10 mins left rage at the lack of urgency

Stoppage time passing it slowly around

Final whistle

Hmm.
