I would like to see Tall Paul come on if we keep it nil nil. I reckon he could cause some problems as a targt man. Especially if we whip in some crosses

Appear to be right up for this.

Putting themselves in the shops window for next season.

Says it all really. Put up the fight in order not to get hammered. But ease off too much when they think they’ll coast around similarly ranked teams.

Have any of our players looked at the league table this season?

First time since Chelsea away then they’ve made any effort or put some work rate, save for 25 minute came v Spurs. In reality, they are just excited about trying to swap shirts with their heroes at FT. They might as well, because bar JWP, KWP and Lavia, the nearest they’ll get to a Man City player is away games at Stockport or Salford in a couple of years time (the Championship is harsh on dysfunctional clubs). Unless the club finds a Kompany type figure in the summer who tells Rasmus and Semmens to keep their nose out.

JWP seems to hate playing it forward these days. What a waste of a free kick. Why is he so bloody chicken? Adores his own pass completion stats. No threat whatsoever.
like the look of this line up though, although Walcott up front is still a big embarrassing.

We're so negative.

He's not, Alcaraz is playing through the middle with Sulemana and Walcott either side.

Course he wasn't.

And there it is. Game over.

But he's so good defensively...

Did Sulemana collect 5 crisp packets to become a pro footballer?

Misses an easy chance and Haaland punishes him. Game over!

Seriously? That was a cracking ball he put in before the goal. If we had Haaland he would have put that away, no question.

Saints suffering from the lack of a goal scorer. The story of the season.

Or anyone who can remotely come close to scoring. Bournemouth have Billing. He'd have buried that chance Sulemana had, all it needed was a curl into the far corner, loads of room. Awful.

The goal was wide open for him to score into. He squared it to noone. Waste.

It was. But no one with the instinct to be where they need to be to tap it in

He’s caused them quite a few problems, certainly the most likely to make something happen

When you see what this team can do, it seems crazy to think of them being relegated.  The key to the rest of the season is whether Selles and JWP can inspire this spirit for the rest of the run in. If they can, there's still a chance. I genuinely believe that with our new players we're capable of being a competitive mid-table team.  Oy... so heart-breaking.

For that one, the City line was really high. Any ball in from that angle was gonna end up straight to the keeper, or one of our players would be offside if they managed to get to it. So he made the right call to draw them out.

Shame about the late concession. The boys haven't disgraced themselves at all.

Which makes you wonder where they've been for all the winnable games they've failed to turn up to this season.

A draw's not out of the question in the second half - City are a flaky side at times.

Come on lads, nothing to lose.

It's fuck all to do with spirit, it's to do with the fact that we couldn't score in a Bangkok knocking shop with Katie Price on special offer
