I've deservedly criticised these lot an absolute tonne, but that's some credit to them for getting back to 3-3 today.

I just wish, for once, we'd take something positive and kick on into next week.

We actually showed some balls in that final 15 mins. Fair play.

And got lucky with the penalty that wasn't but about time we got some luck!

Battling point after being 3-1 down and after losing both our centre backs. Probably needed more but fair play for the come back. Nice to score twice from open play.

Thing that really gets my goat is that Saints always wait until they're losing and in the last 15 minutes of the game to turn on the style and play out of their skin, score and get a result.  Why can't we do that in the first half - it boils my piss?!?!

Fair to say that Sulemana should never be dropped again.

He’s Better coming off the bench imo.

Credit to Walcott. Really good.

Lavia class.

JWP balls.

Mara did very well.

Good play Che.

Unfortunately we've thrown 2 points away there with some poor defending. Far too deep for the last two goals. Need DCC to step up now.

These are the kinds of game that can set the tone for the rest of the season. They kept fighting at 3-1 and earned that. I hope the belief gets carried forward into the next games. 19 chances and 7 on target also tells its tale.

Also, Elyounoussi, never again.

I must have missed those. FF was easily our best keeper, by some distance.

But when he played for us the whole forum said he was shit

One point doesn't mean that much, but at least the boys gave us a nice comeback to remember! Still too much of a hill to climb as a result of Wednesday, really.

Strange, we seemed to carry far more of a goal threat after Elyounoussi went off - coincidence I'm guessing.

Mara being on made a huge difference. He's an intelligent player.

Great comeback, useful point but probably needed more.

An infuriating team. Turn up for certain games and then go missing for others

2nd & 3rd goals were down to having a makeshift CB in AMN who wasn't great aerially. (Just bad luck and he did his best out of position and was ueseful bringing the ball out)

Walcott excellent again and deserved his goal. Good to see 1 go in for adams, the kind he scores when he doesn't have time to think about it.

Sulemana may be more use as a impact sub running at tired legs, as that worked well today.

My main ire is reserved for Elyounessi, horribly lazy causing their first. A coward before their second (bottling a shot when well placed and passing to Adams). Just generally like playing with 10 men.

Great fightback.

Good to see the team putting a shift in.

For someone who has been at the game, what page of this thread is best to look at to see posters making twats out of themselves?

Great comeback and can forgive the 3 goals against after we lost the 2 CB’s

The Brentford result has killed the optimism though, 1 point out of 6 not good enough 🤬

Great to see Alcarez wanting to play forward as his first thought, Sula being so direct when he gets the ball. All outfield players in Spurs half for majority of that second half. At last for the back 3/4 of that second half we looked like a decent football team

Even when we were 3-1 down I didn't think the team deserved to get trashed today - they played pretty well, in spite of having to deal with one of the best attacks in Europe with one CB for 70mins.

The late penalty was a farce - the ref wouldn't have gotten out of there alive if it'd been the other way around - but I think we earned a bit of luck with the guts we showed.

This game won't be the reason we go down. But the details - three goals conceded from three shots on goal - are certainly a massive contributory factor: we can't expect to limit sides to zero shots on target, and we can't expect to have to score twos and threes every week to get something from matches.

Nice cameos from the subs for a change. Mara, Sulemana and Alcaraz will be good players in a few years. Probably for someone else, though.

Can't complain about the fight shown. At this stage, that's all most of us hope for - don't go down with a whimper.
