Weston Super Saint Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 So, with the summer coming up - it is coming up isn't it?? - I'm looking for a decent tripod as I venture out to take more water sports photos. Not really ventured in to the realms of tripods thus far, and went for a reasonably basic Jessops one to get started with, but it's not the most stable piece of kit in a slight wind.... I daresay that with water sports I shall be in a howling offshore gale most of the time, so need something a bit sturdier.... Budget is about £150 - which is to include legs obviously and preferably head too - looking for a ball type head as they seem to be easier to use??? So, let's have those recommendations - and what to steer clear of [apart from Jessops as it's too late ]...... Oh, and clicky linky things would be gratefully appreciated
Al de Man Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Try the Manfrotto 190XProB. No idea about heads though. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Manfrotto-190XPROB-Tripod-Legs-Only/dp/B000MQFQU6
