On an additional (and really boring) note, how shit is our pitch? I know it had that disease a while ago, but fuck me. It really sums up the diseased club we are at the minute.

Throw in that abysmal kit and the faded pink seats and it’s a hell of a look isn’t it.

Whatever combination of players we put out under three different managers the results are the same.

Thought alcaraz was particularly bad

I was very surprised at just how bad Alcaraz was tonight, expected better!    I'm afraid there's a solid body of evidence stacking up against Orsic too.

The whole club is an embarrassment to football.

We lost, at home, to a club who are only a few places above Eastleigh.

What really passes me of is the Grimsby fans celebrating when they've been handed the game on a plate by the officials. They never got close to scoring.

Don't know what game you were watching, Grandad.

We had this debate over and over in the first season of VAR and they still haven't addressed it.

If they can't find a frame that shows the exact moment the ball is played they should rewind to the last frame before the contact and if the receiving player is onside in that one then the goal should stand.

I am baffled why they don't do this. It's so simple.

They've only had 5 years to perfect it in fairness. Much more if you go by its initial conception. It'll continue to be questionable for years to come.

I'm amused by headlines that Grimsby stun Saints. Given we are so shite at the moment, I fail to see how anyone can be shocked by this result?

I think the players should donate any appearances fees from tonight to a local charity, it's the least they can do.

Not to ignore Grimsby in this though as I want to be gracious about it. They gave it everything, so much effort and passion, played like a team and got the luck their efforts deserved. It didn't take much to defend against us, but they deserve their night and I hope they get a good draw in the next round that gets them a few quid.

They really kept up with the Joneses tonight.

I started to wonder why we never put any crosses in from wide areas but then I noticed we had nobody in the box anyway. That is a really shit football team. Selles is just Ralph in reverse.

Mental that we lost to that shite, we were shit but Grimsby were shocking. Basically gifted the game by our two thick wanker centre backs and we were too shit to fight our way back.

Those players deserve to play in an empty stadium every week.

Club is sick from top to bottom.

Ankerw*nker or whatever his name is is the worst person to ever walk into our football club....he's a story teller (a good one at that) and nothing more.

He makes Branfoot and Lowe look like club legends.

It has NEVER been this bad

Alcaraz at least moved the ball quickly. Lavia needed about a half a dozen touches - a point made by the paramount+ commentators.  I think he gets taken off cos he slows our play rather than fitness.

Nope, but they will continue to tell you were are world leading in everything, and dump continuous empty platitudes about being brave and different, over and over again.

He was part of it tonight. Look how much better we were when JWP came on and used the call quickly and positively. He's a classy player, but he did the team no favours tonight.

A word and a yellow? So it was a foul then?! We all know it’s bollocks and soft but DCC but himself on show and got done for it.

Stupid prick, maybe that’s why he can’t be trusted??

It wasn't in any shape or form a penalty - a bit of handbags in the box and no, it wasn't a free kick just two players who did pretty much equal to one another and that balloon comes up with a penalty. It is fucking disgraceful that he can get away with a decision like that. Imagine that at Old Traford or Anfield, it just wouldn't be given. I'm more angry about that than our shit performance.

If this group of players supposedly like Selles and this is the best they can do for him it says a hell of a lot more about them than it does any failings he might have.

Thought alcaraz was poor. The game seems to largely pass him by as he jogs around to no great effect

Got to be a point where Dragan demands answers/changes. From his point of view (and ours), his money's been pissed up the wall big time.

A new season low, if that was possible ☹️.

Fair play Grimsby, I’m sure your fans came more in hope than expectation, but we made your dreams come true. Enjoy the 6th round.

Saints, the “dream makers”. 😳

Sadly not for our own fans  ☹️.

McCarthy - cant really fault him

KWP - Shite. A shadow of the player from previous seasons

Lyanco - Get out of our club

DCC - Shite. Soft penalty but you just dont do that

Perraud - Shite

Lavia - Good luck with your future career sir

Alcaraz - Shite.

Djenepo - Get out of our club

Orsic - Send him back to Zagreb now

AA - Get out of our club

Mara - Get out of our club

Aribo - Get out of our club

Edozie - 25 step overs and then passes back. Shite.

Walcott - Its bad when he was the only player trying to make things happen

JWP - Feel for him having to play with this shite.

Ballard - his first appearance and overshadowed by a horror show of a performance.

Fucking despise this club right now 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Well if they draw City away one thing is for certain - they won't get given two penalties like that.

😆😆😆 yeah he is our golden boy our next jwp who will carry us for season after season.

He is weak and shifty injury prone and not very good but he will do against the others we can slag off.

Fuckoff sheep boring.

It was the poor passing and turnovers which seemed to let Alcaraz down tonight.  I thought Lavia was one of the few to stand out.
