Sir Ralph Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 I think we should face it. We aren’t good enough- second best today against relegation candidates 1
Tanlee Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 Bednarek is shit but no way that goal is his fault, bazuna Is a liability 1

Bad Wolf Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 How can Bazunu possibly be blamed for that? He literally couldn't see the ball until it was about to trickle past him... 2 2

Mr X Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 Let's remember Appointing Jones was the real nail in our coffin though not that goal 2
GDog07 Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 Back to being typical Saints. Turn up for the big games v Man City and Chelsea and don’t give any effort to the games which we should be taking points from. Nice one lads!
obelisk Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 Oh I give up. I suppose it's almost a relief because I can't imagine how this team can survive now. Off to feed the cats.

Crab Lungs Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 Adam Armstrong is on. You all know what that means…

Holmes_and_Watson Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 Geez. We struggle to beat any kind of press as well. All back to noone offering an outball anywhere in the team. Not a recent thing that.
Lee On Solent Saint Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 The damage Nathan Jones and Rasmus Ankerson have done to the club this season cannot be over stated. 4 1
niceandfriendly Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 That's surely the worst Bazunu error this season? God there's been so many, but that is absolutely unforgivable.
Greedyfly Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 Let's be honest, this is the fault of Selles as much as anyone else. Making the same fucking personnel errors as Jones, and in fact he's actually doing little different except maybe a slight formation change. It's awful sideways football, shit subs and little to no game plan. We played a bereft Chelsea last week where you often get a reaction from players anyway (because it's big opposition) and then staked our prem survival on it. Tit. 6

badgerx16 Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 Just now, Bad Wolf said: How can Bazunu possibly be blamed for that? He literally couldn't see the ball until it was about to trickle past him... Because he is the fashionable fall guy - people are simply resigned to Bednarek's performances so take them as read..
Crab Lungs Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 Bamford, Adams and Mckennie are right bunch of nasty pricks aren’t they.

the colonel Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 but we haven't had one decide attack this game. Haven't looked like scoring all game
saintant Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 I'd have taken 3 points from Chelsea and Leeds away but seems this has been an awful performance.
westmidlandsaint Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 1 minute ago, Tanlee said: Bednarek is shit but no way that goal is his fault, bazuna Is a liability Apart from the fact he let it roll across his feet without attempting to kick the fucking ball whilst totally blocking his keepers view. Definitely not his fault!! 1
Saint Matty 76 Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 We've gifted 3 points to so many teams around us who haven't done a thing to deserve it, all season. We're ending a game we're chasing with A. Armstrong, Walcott and Mara as our hopes of getting an equaliser, barely Championship quality.
Holmes_and_Watson Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 Example. Leeds have no problem at all starting form deep, switching it out to the flank and delivering a ball into the box. And again, can connect down the flank to deliver a ball in. We've managed it once I think, and that was Walcott. Every other team in the league seems to be better drilled. Hard to imagine after all the work they did under Ralph. 2
OttawaSaint Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 (edited) Doesn't matter who the manager is. We've assembled a bunch of gutless, slow, talentless bottlers. Big 6 pointer and not even tested the Leeds goalie. Bednarek stepping out of a block. Keeper again let's a ball go right through him. A midfield full if slow blinkered players who can't pass or make a decent run off the ball. Strikers who couldn't hit the fucking crowd behind the goal let alone the net. Then the media department rolling out someone to trot out cliches every week and smiling players in gloves and hats. Everyone can fuck off apart from JWP and Lavia. The Juice Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 Just watching Adam Armstrong and Theo Walcott chasing leeds defenders around. It's just desperate 1
Archers Road Stand Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 And we had Martin Semmens PR spin saying Selles was world class. 😂 Fluke win vs Chelsea gets him a full time gig. We were shite vs Sheff Wednesday under him and we've been absolutely abysmal today.
Ed Rooney Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 Has Selles been a massive part of the problem all along 1

egg Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 Just now, warsash saint said: Is he meant to stand in front of him??? Bednerak at total fault for that goal! Nonsense. The CB has to be in position to defend what's in front of him. The keepers job is to position himself behind the CB. That goal was not on Bednarek.
Saint_clark Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 Referee booking Lavia now for interrupting Bamfords time wasting.
Sheaf Saint Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 Honestly, I know it's the done thing to slate Bazunu on here but he had no chance with Janny fucking B standing right on front of him and making no effort whatsoever to step out and block the shot. 1 1

DT Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 In other news, Danny Ings. At least Everton are losing. this Selles bloke is useless 😀 it’s all over, folks. Time to rebuild for the championship.
Bad Wolf Posted 25 February, 2023 Posted 25 February, 2023 1 minute ago, AlexLaw76 said: it went though his f-ing hand That does not automatically make it his fault. If he can't see the ball coming, he can't reflex to save it.
