IF wotte saves us from the drop

But he won't so answering hypothetical questions is a pointless exercise.

I think that is the very point of hypothetical questions. They allow us to place ourselves in situations however unlikely and still manage to come to a decision as to what we would do/like/expect etc. Fair enough, you would have to be more than a cardboard cut-out one trick pony to manage this, but I did think it was somewhere inside you. Obviously not.

YES you are Fartey and by the way Lowey and Wottey outey yhe door as soon as.

I hope you are right to be honest. Lowe is no longer the future of this club and better days will return once he has gone. Why you seem to think I am a Lowe "Luvviee" is beyond me. It doesn't mean that I have totally different views to you merely because I take the micky out of you. I just do it because you make it so easy.

football is all about ifs and buts

you are more than happy to go over ifs, buts and conspiracy in matters OFF THE FIELD...yet on the field, it is all pointless..?

nice one

I liked your Jan the man appreciation thread better.

the anti's argument has gone down hill on this thread aint it? I thought Lowe was the one who employed the spin tactic and refused to answer questions.

If the question was "Do you think Wotte will keep us up?" most of the board will probably say no. But TDD's question seems to have got a few Anti's knickers in a twist. lol

I liked your Jan the man appreciation thread better.

so did I...

I thought he was doing a good job at the start of the season...playing good stuff, good wins etc..

but it never worked out...sad but that happens and I am all for a sensible change...

isnt that what sane normal thinking football fans judge things...on what actually happens..

for the record, I was well happy when burley first arrived and seriously thought he would take us to the prem etc...

however, it did not work out and I was one of the first to call for change on here...

wowzers..

to keep with the crowd..!!!

are you for real..?

I was banned from here once..for the very reason that I did NOT "keep with the crowd" over my opinions on burley...

i was banned for reacting to the baiting that was going on..

it is all water under the bridge now but im sure alps, nickh, original bournemouth saint would back me up on that...

to keep with the crowd...lol good one

To Stanley, Wotte keeping us up would be like the liver he received to be able to live belonging to that bell ringing pompey fan, although the upside would of course be that the bell ringer was no more.

I think you could've constructed this post better.

It's pretty clear - I think if we stayed up it would be pretty harsh not to keep Wotte on applying the logic that Pearson should have stayed. I don't think Wotte will be successful - in fact I can't see us winning many more games - but very happy to proven wrong. As in last summer though, new people will come in and remove him regardless of his performance and I think none of us would be surprised at that.

I thought Pearson deserved the chance to carry on dispite not having a great record. Wotte has a similar task in that Survival will mean success (and surprise to many of us lol)

If there are going to be new people at the top by the end of the season I do hope it is a clean sweep and a new board that will actually want to invest and take us forward. I dont think another game of musical chairs will do us any good what so ever.

So you are a Luvvey then.....I didn't really know but then again you have all the traits of one. I really don't hold it against you and really hope all your crowd leave real soon.

Still get on your tits jay all this Luvvey stuff?

TBH i dont pay as much attention any more. I know your a saints fan and want the best for the saints. I think we want the same thing in the end but I cant find argument that can agree with your way of doing it. no hard feelings from me.

It depends. If he does a Pearson-esq job of making us difficult to beat with no money to spend and really turns the team arround then I would have to say yes. If however nothing changes in our performances and results, but we stay up on goal difference because Donny and Forest are s**t, then I would have to say no.

And you cannot back up your own arguments.

to be fair a question was asked at the begining of this thread and johnny has answered it. you came here to turn it into a slanging match about lowe and wilde being here while refusing to answer the question in the thread.

I dont see what argument johnny has failed to back up?

Christ on a bike. ****ing read will you.

Now breath and more control and lets start again my Luvver...Wot seems to be the trubble here. You helped me with my grammer now maybe you can help me with my breathing...

On the thred as I said at the start before being rudely sidetracked by your goodself...Wottey out now preferably but if not at the end of the season up or down...He is not a football manager and has just failed miserably together with his co Team coach JP...More failure on his long CV...Not good enough and therefore he is outa that door as soon as . My opinion of course.

Take me through the commas and paragraphs later my luv.

I don't agree that Wotte should stay or go ENTIRELY based in whether we stay up or not.

Of course, it's a results driven business, but that sometimes leads to too much of a "do or die" approach.

If on the last day of the season, Leics and Coventry had won, we'd have gone down. But Pearson's results would have been identical and I think a strong case could have been made for retaining him.

We might get to a total of 47 points with Wotte and get relegated. Or get to a total of 45 and stay up.

Should he be sacked in the first situation but kept in the second?

Other considerations might be whether if (very hypothetically!) there is a big influx of money, you might decide Wotte isn't the best man to spend it - however good his record with the youngsters.

So, I don't think it's as black and white as "stay up he stays, go down, he goes"

Agreed since you said I got on your tits it really put me off and frightened me for a while and now with Fartey bullying me as well I begin to wonder if we are all really Saints fans...I know I am but some are showing their colours refgarding Rupey dear.

No hard feelings and one day we must have a pint and you can knock some sense into me and I can give you some cream for your poor old breasts.

Whatever happens lets hope we can get somw points...Norwich maybe..

Now we all no you are deluded.

Which points am i deluded on?

p.s it's "know".

I know Johnny is a muppet show type poster and as such likes to play the clown, that's fine, but when posting on the main board he should IMO be a little bit more mature now and again. He made a statement without foundation and he can't back it up. That is the only point i'm making.

How did WGS CV look before us?

How did Curbishly do before West Ham?

How did Sam Allardyce do before Newcastle?

Wotte was good enough to manage Holands under 21 team for a while too wasnt he?

I have no crystal ball unfortunatly but I wouldnt put a bet on Wotte doing the business for us. However if.... i mean IF he can turn our team into a team that is hard to break down whilst we attack with speed and precission and scoring freely then why wouldnt any of us be prepared to give him the chance to carry on next season?

Or should we get rid just because he is a Lowe man and all that is Lowe is really bad and can never be trusted? Just like a new stadium, cup final, europe and the highest league finish in the prem are all really bad things that lowe had his hand in?

He reminds me so much of Wigley...probably a really good coach at under 21 level..not sure at this level...Led to believe he was a partnership with JP and was the main instigator of all things Total Football strategy etc and therefore really had to be honourable and walk with JP..Joint failure in my opinion...Now appears to be distancing himself from his old partner.

Then again I have no choice whilst he is Manager /coach I really want us to win...Wottey will then be God...But what I have seen of him and reserves and his part in the first team..I will not have high hopes of us staying up...But I hope he proves me wrong.

COYR win at Norwich please..very important as my boss supports them.

Sometimes I wonder what your smoking?

Ages ago I commented.... not thretend.... commented that the lowey and wildey names you make up for everyone get on my tits as IMO they make your posts look childish and made in such a way as to wind people up. I dont lose any sleep over it and this is just an internet forum so i dont get overly excited by it but I thought I would try to let you know how i felt in the hope that you tried to find a better way to put your message across. you didnt so i ignored it. no biggy and i didnt feel the need to take it further. Its not my place to tell others how to behave or what to think.

IMO I havnt even seen anyone bullying you on here either. A question was asked and you gave an answer to questions or statments that have been done to death on many other threads and wasnt even needed on this one. Johnny tried to tell you and you took it as him having a pop at you.

As for showing colours regarding rupes????? Come on...... A question was asked regarding the manager and relegation and rupes wasnt mentioned so deducting what peoples views on rupes are because of that is crazy.

Quite happy to have a beer with you as we are not all that far away from each other but dont see the point in anyone knocking sence into anyone unless you do try to put any kind of cream anywhere near my moobies thank you please!!!! ;)

But isnt there something in the rules that says something about keeping on subject? so far you havnt answered the question at the top of the thread so not sure why your even on this thread to draw an argument in the 1st place?

Its also a bit rich asking for answers to your questions when you wont answer the one in the thread too IMO.

Not sure why but I would put him above Wigley although I will probably get proved wrong on that one.

It would be nice and I look forward to anyone at our club making a decission that goes on to be a good one. Dont give a monkeys who makes that decission anymore. just hope it happens.
