Given I don’t like any of the suggested options or they will never take on the bottom team how about the manager of the Lionesses. She would soon sort out any lazy team members!….

For me Nuno is the best option of the "realistic" choices. While I'd love the return of poch it isn't going to happen.

Gerrard is another fraud and we'd do well to avoid.

Bielsa would be a good short term appointment, but his legacy might be problematic.

To be honest Nuno is a no for me

Valencia - Sacked

Porto - Sacked

Wolves - Sacked

Spurs - Sacked

He's the portugese version of mark hughes  or gennaro gattuso who both just happen to have a better agent.

defensive football and even then the defence at tottenham was made worse by him

With SR we can expect to be underwhelmed. Unless they can swallow their pride and listen to footballing people it'll be another algorithm and statistics driven appointment.

Didn't Nuno leave Wolves for Spurs?

Portuguese coach Nuno was effectively sacked in 2021 after a difficult season where performances dipped following successive seventh-placed finishes

Nuno Espirito Santo: Wolves manager to leave club at end of Premier League season
Wolves confirm Nuno Espirito Santo will depart after four seasons at the helm following final Premier League match vs Man Utd on Sunday; Nuno signed new three-year deal in September 2020 but leaves by "mutual agreement"; Exit is not linked to other managerial vacancies

Would love to see Bielsa at Saints next season. Not a realistic this season appointment though as his brand of football needs a pre-season to bed in.

If we are appointing someone permanently now it needs to be with clear view that they are best possible candidate for the Championship, which is highly likely to be our destination.

I don't see a standout name(now that Everton have got Dyche) that could work miracles to save us or would likely be interested, so i'd be inclined to lean towards a caretaker till end of the season & fresh start with someone new next. Know others hate the romantic idea of Adkins coming in as a short-term unity candidate but that's still probably where i'd lean if he was up for it.

He’s a self-confessed US-based YouTuber. Not sure why he’d know who we are or aren’t meeting and why we should take anything he puts out as anything more gospel-like than what’s written on SWF. Plus his Twitter bio states “Gaurdiola is my bestie” FFS. If you give credence to every bit of clickbait over the next few days it’ll drive you bonkers….

Many underwhelming names being thrown around. Don't really deserve much else at the moment.

This season could turn to shit if we're not careful.

Gallardo or Jaissle would be good, but like many of the best options, I don't know how likely it would be that we could get them to join a side facing relegation.

If Saints beat Chelsea, why would we want Potter? Surely that would suggest we stick with Selles at least until the end of the season?!

Do they not learn? They need a manager with an upward record and who ideally no one has heard of so we can get behind them straight away. Jones didn’t work as he was known for being bad at stoke, and now we’re doing the same with Marsch. Lots of our twatty fanbase (only minor offence if i’m talking about you) will want him out as soon as he’s announced due to his time at leeds.
