Saint Matty 76 Posted 18 February, 2023 Posted 18 February, 2023 Shame about the other results but fucking unreal win, build on it

Yorkshire Saint Posted 18 February, 2023 Posted 18 February, 2023 Big big result. What a game at Elland Road coming up... win that and perhaps we can start to dream. Well done Selles 👏 6
OttawaSaint Posted 18 February, 2023 Posted 18 February, 2023 Did the double over Chelsea. I'm drenched in sweat! 1
sydney_saint Posted 18 February, 2023 Posted 18 February, 2023 Footage of Jones watching the game from a nearby apartment 13

saintant Posted 18 February, 2023 Posted 18 February, 2023 Great win and double. Well done Ruben - didn't agree with team selection but said I'd judge on the performance and that showed you have a bit about you. Couldn't give a shit about other results - we can only influence our own games. Imagine if we beat Leeds away next week! 2
BotleySaint Posted 18 February, 2023 Posted 18 February, 2023 Wow. A win! Those other results hurt. But can't take away from the fact we've finally won. 1
bobby_charles Posted 18 February, 2023 Posted 18 February, 2023 Is that the double over chelsea? when was the last time that happened? 1

saintscottofthenortham Posted 18 February, 2023 Posted 18 February, 2023 Wow. Didn’t know we had a performance like that in us. Huge result on any day, but with results around us, even bigger. Selles, take a bow. Every man on the pitch, join him. AMN monstrous at centre-half. Bazunu vastly improved too. 2
Saint Fan CaM Posted 18 February, 2023 Posted 18 February, 2023 Yes! Loving Ruben this week. 😘 Brilliant from JWP, but still a worrying lack of shots on goal from Saints. Overall, excellent game management from Selles…better than Ralph even.
LeBizzier69 Posted 18 February, 2023 Posted 18 February, 2023 Get TF in there. MOTD tonight for the first time in ages. 6
BotleySaint Posted 18 February, 2023 Posted 18 February, 2023 Bizzare starting line-up. Bizzare substitutions. Yet somehow, it worked! 1

Saint_clark Posted 18 February, 2023 Posted 18 February, 2023 Amazing. Start building something Saints. Shame Mara couldn't make it 2-0 at the end, no idea why he chose to pass when he had a clear sight of goal. Could really do with a Spurs and United win tomorrow to keep the teams above within touching distance. 1
Saint NL Posted 18 February, 2023 Posted 18 February, 2023 More booooooooooos at the end of a Saints game 😂 2
davefizzy14 Posted 18 February, 2023 Posted 18 February, 2023 Get in there! what a start from Ruben and capped off by another sensational free kick from our captain fantastic
Behind Enemy Lines Posted 18 February, 2023 Posted 18 February, 2023 Front footed, aggressive. God willing, we can build on this. 1 7
macca155 Posted 18 February, 2023 Posted 18 February, 2023 That was agony, only had Solent to listen to. I need a lie down now. Brilliant win well done Saints. Some weird results today, that will panic a few teams. Lots of work to do, hopefully Saints can bury Leeds next week
The Kraken Posted 18 February, 2023 Posted 18 February, 2023 Brilliant first half, backs to the wall all second half, we rode our luck but all credit for hanging in there. How nice to see a Saints team with some identity. Pressing in the right areas, hunting in packs, making it difficult for the other side. And how nice to see a calm manager on the touchline. 4
Crab Lungs Posted 18 February, 2023 Posted 18 February, 2023 Wow, I hold my hands up, that was exceptional. Stinking stinking set of results but if we hadn’t have won, we’d have been well cut adrift. Now, back to us. Well, that’s the first time this year I’ve seen us actually properly together. Like, all together. Incredible stuff from Selles and the team. Thanks for giving us all hope again. 10

Mr X Posted 18 February, 2023 Posted 18 February, 2023 Thank god even though it hasn't exactly helped it keeps us getting cut way adrift! Much improved spirit and effort from the team need to do it against leeds now! Come on you selles saints!
Jimmy_D Posted 18 February, 2023 Posted 18 February, 2023 So that’s a third of our points this season so far from Chelsea Fantastic win. Although it looks like results haven’t gone our way today, come the end of the season we might be glad of some of the teams that lost today if they get dragged back in. Mara perhaps would have seen red on another day, but he’s clearly going for the ball, and unlike with a reckless tackle, clearly has no idea the player’s there. Azpilicueta was just wrong place wrong time. I absolutely refuse to believe that a season where we’ve done the double over Chelsea is a season we get relegated. We’re getting out of this. 7 1
Toadhall Saint Posted 18 February, 2023 Posted 18 February, 2023 Well well well. Excellent result well done. Something to build on.
OttawaSaint Posted 18 February, 2023 Posted 18 February, 2023 Saints win. Clean sheet JWP cracker Got an MLG confused face on one of my posts! What a day!!! 8 3

saint77 Posted 18 February, 2023 Posted 18 February, 2023 Shit line up shit coach hasn’t got a clue 2
LGTL Posted 18 February, 2023 Posted 18 February, 2023 All we want is a bit of hope. It's certainly given us that, great result lads. 1
