He linked up well in the first half, was shattered in the second. 

Mateta up front for Palace shows the benefits of having a player up front who may not get a lot of goals but can hold it up and link up well, which Onuachu does. He'll score goals if we continue to give him time, not a huge amount but some.

He did not link up well. He flicked on headers to nobody and our only goal had nothing to do with him.

Was swinging at the ball in the shooting drill like he had a pirate's peg leg, and then after he eventually converted one - to ironic cheering and celebrations from the crowd - he was cracking up laughing about it. I'm in the 'give him a run in the team' camp. When he went off yesterday, the only goal threat come from Fernandes. Admittedly, TP had a crap game, but AA should be nowhere near the squad. Sulemana offers nothing. Tyler Dibling seems to have lost a bit of form, so TP and Archer should be the up front initial pairing being fed by KWP and Sugawara. 

Couldn't understand yesterday why KWP went on a searching run which led to our goal then after that seemed to hold back. It was almost like, 'shit that worked, better not do that again'.

There's zero point in playing him. None of our players can put a decent cross in. Lost count of how many times Bree could have tossed it in the box yesterday only to tap it backwards.

You're right. Three games in a row is time enough for any player to bang in a hattrick or two. Cut our losses. 

Said before I wanted to see him get a run of games and I stand by that - meaning 5 or 6 in a row at least, not 3 and out. The alternative is getting Armstrong back up front.
